I ordered the Penna pasta with pesto for $10 and a bottle of water for a grand total of $12. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more professional. However this is defiantly a very special occasion place. I ended HAVING to go there because Pideme La Luna ended being closed so I didn't want to have dressed up and... More

Primarily regional cuisine but not only. We had Thai Chicken and a local dish of chicken in peanut sauce. Both great. The tomato - vegetable soup was one of a kind. The view is fantastic but there is limited seating on the terrace.

I arrived at about 5.45 PM which was a perfect time because I was able to watch the sun go down and the lights turn on in the centro historico. The view is absolutely spectacular and you're able to try their famous hot chocolate with queso. Might get crowded during the weekend so it's not a bad idea to reserve... More

We loved the warm and intimate atmosphere of the upper level bar and covered terrace. Cafe Mosaico is on a beautiful and quiet tree lined street, just 50 meters down from Vista Hermosa, also a nice and similar restaurant/view. The staff were very friendly although the one waiter was overworked so everything took longer (the extra food, drinks and table... More

My wife and I have been here twice so far on our week long visit and plan on going back tonight! Last night we went over just for a nightcap and to enjoy the view however we stayed for hours while visiting with the most hospitable owners in the world! I ordered a pitcher of a mix of hot cider,... More

Mosaico has one of the best views in Quito. It is a 5 star place for a drink and an appetizer at sunset. But if you want a good meal, best find another restaurant with a view. My first time at Mosaico, a friend and I split a banana split. The ice cream was loaded with junks of frost. Second... More

This is a fun restaurant with great views, sitting out on an enclosed patio perched a top the hillside. It was just a $3 dollar taxi ride on a rainy night from old town. We walked home easily afterwards down a staircase that is to the left, after exiting the restaurant as our lodging was in nearby San Blas neighborhood.... More

Our hotel & tour guide recommended this place, for the view and because they had vegetarian food options. This restaurant sits on top of the hill over looking the whole city of Quito. First we weren't too sure about the place and walked out of the restaurant to go see 2 other place down the street, but they did not... More

Probably the best experience in my trip to Quito. Busy restaurant, up in the mountain, with a hectic ambient, live music, an amazing amazing view, and... dogs. Yep, the owners love dogs and make them available for adoption, great thing... There are even some items on the menu reserved for the furry ones. Check pics. I tried the burger, with... More

Cafe Mosaico was one of the highlights of our brief stay in Quito. It's a bar and restaurant which serves traditional Ecuadoran food and drink. It has a fantastic buzz and stunning views of the glittering lights of Quito. The credit for the individual character of Cafe Mosaico goes to the owners who are creative, lively and welcoming. It's also... More
