I ordered menu of the day which included a starter, main course, and desert. The waiter asked me did I want desert and I told him yes, it was part of the menu of the day. However I'm not sure he understood at the time, my Spanish is very weak so I tried to communicate with him through english. He... More

A great little restaurant tucked away out of sight. Run by a Belgium couple, they offer wonderful Belgium cuisine and fine Belgium beers.

We had lunch at Via Via, recommended to us by local friends. It's set in a lovey courtyard with views of Valpo. Food was delicious with a Belgian theme. The chips are a massive highlight - really well cooked. Staff are very friendly and also look out for Menu the cat (yes that's her name - Menu). She's extremely friendly... More

We have not been to our most favourite restaurant in Valparaíso for quite some time! My husband is unwell at the moment and find it difficult to sit and enjoy for hours on end as we used to do at ViaVia Café in their lovely and tranquil garden! We look forward to being back there very soon to enjoy their... More

My husband and I chose this restaurant in Valparaiso as it is in a great area and the courtyard looked cute. We had beers and ordered sandwiches, as a lot of the other food was very heavy and not right for a hot summers day. The sandwich were priced very well compared to what is on offer in Valparaiso, as... More

So happy to find this sanctuary of a restaurant- I'm vegan and I was happy to find a dish that wasn't just pasta sin queso or ensalada! My boyfriend also enjoyed their food and pisco sours! The owner is also lovely and they have the cutest cat there too!

Food was horrible, warmed up in microwave and frozen inside. We told it to the manager, and they just warmed more the food, thus it became hard and disgusting. Very bad service.

Dear Matteo, Thank you for your comment. We deeply regret our experience in our restaurant has been a bad experience. Our fish and chips is home made, portioned and in high season sometimes frozen to guarantee freshness and hygiene. Our kitchen clearly made an error when they fried the fish and did not check the temperature. We guarantee it was... More

We were looking for a place Christmas Eve and found this gem after not being able to get a table at another restaurant. Sometimes 2nd choices work out better than expected. The turkey came with a gravy that I never even remotely tasted before. What a Wow! The service and outdoor dining in a little courtyard was a great experience... More

this hotel is in 1 word 'nice' with a stunning view and in the bar you have really nice beers. the price is rather cheap so you can't not like this hotel. the owner takes time to explain things so that helps if you don't know the region.

This place was recommended by a local friend. Alas, we neglected to make Christmas Eve reservations (a must in Valparaiso). Still, we wandered in and the staff were kind enough to fit us in, while cautioning that they might not be able to give us the set menu. We had such a special evening: the ambiance, the kindness of the... More
