I've been to many amazing restaurants around the world. I am particularly obsessed with the Pellegrino Top 50 Restaurants in the world. So when I visited Santiago, Chile, I arranged for a dinner for 10 of my physician colleagues. The entire dinner was rushed. And...More

I expected a good meal but this surpassed my expectations! A friend and I were in town for business and planned our reservation in advance of our trip. The first interesting thing was 2 bull horns set on the table which certainly piqued our curiosity....More

Borago was one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. The staff was very professional and engaging. I recommend the 15 course meal with wine pairing. This option really showcased the wonderful food and wine Chile has to offer. I will be returning on...More

We are foodies. This was a really exciting adventure. Apples the size of peas. Rose petals from desert roses that flower once a year. Servings in stone dishes with a lot of attention to temperature. Everything very local and unique. Wine matching was excellent. Truly...More

We recently dined at Borago on July 28th. We had the larger 16 course menu and the juice pairing instead of wine. It's best described as a procession of new takes on traditional Chilean dishes along with unusual items thoughtfully sourced and foraged from around...More

We really enjoyed our eating our way through South America - and Borago was one of the best tasting menus we experienced. Everything is special, including the staff, the dishes used to serve the food, the view of the kitchen, and the open-air grill where...More

I've eaten at 3 star restaurants all over the world but never have I experienced a meal like the one I had at Borago. It blew me away. Absolutely unique and exquisite tastes. The slow roasted lamb, the fish cooked in an avocado leaf, the...More

I dined solo and had a great experience at the table. There was a bar but it was more of a waiting area. Also, it appeared there were some late walk in customers, so don't be deterred if you can't get a reservation. Call... More

Well to be honest 10 percent sevens to rule here but I break it often with Portland/NYC type service and go to 20 percent. All cards are accepted but save yourself the worry and don't even walk in Borago. It is a scam.
