Trust Trip Advisor over Lonely Planet. With so many good eateries to choose from in Pucon i have no idea how this made it in to the Oct 2015 edition. Even though my Spanish isn't fluent, I am not content to be ignored on arrival, then reluctantly offered a table on a quiet rainy Friday evening, and eventually presented with... More

Very good meal, very tasty and subtle spices - the fish soup was wonderful and everything came in generous portion. The atmosphere is also very cool, but make sure you come after 9pm to mingle with the locals!

The ceviche arrived after 25 minutes. The fish was frozen, and the lemon watered down. The photo speaks for itself. Dont spend a cent in here!

Simply the best tiradito de salmón we have ever tried. Great picante de camarones as well. Need to work on their pisco sours. The owners are great fun and will come up to talk to you thru the menu and they recommendations. Lovely deco, fire place right in the middle of the restaurant.

I am not a ceviche expert, but the one that I tried in Viva Perú was simply fantastic. Great aroma, textures, spicyness. Very good service as well.

We had high hopes of delicious and tasty Peruvian food, but found it tasteless. The restaurant lacked atmosphere and we wouldn't go back.

They make really good pisco sours, I always get the Chilean one. I donno the other meals but the Mediterranean ceviche (salmon) it's just one of the best I've ever tried. The seafood ceviche is not as good. But totally recommended to go and get that salmon one!

But a nice patio to sit. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, I don't know. I had a crevice which was uninspired and uninspiring. I would not bother to return.

After a long rafting day I went to viva Perù with 2 friends. The place is really cool, in the summer you can ask for a table Outside and is very nice. We tried their famous ceviche and we were really satisfied, is simply delicious. They make ceviche in three different way, but the classic is my favourite. As main... More

The portion sizes here were huge but the flavour of the food limited. For the price of a serve it was quite expensive
