We decided to escape from the confines of our Sentosa hotel restaurants and venture into the Esplanade waterfront and what a great decision it was. The restaurant had half filled with customers soon after 6.30, and all of them appeared Singaporean locals. Not a tourist in sight. Yet the crab dishes were clearly priced for tourists. We chose a Canadian... More

Visited with family - was looking for a seafood restaurant with indoor seating, and on the marina bayfront with access to the city lights. Have had a positive experience at the Geylang location years ago and therefore made a reservation to ensure seating. To be fair the food is pretty good - the kids love the fried rice (an ordinary... My fault as I did not read these reviews first. Service is atrocious. About 1 ounce of crab was $120.00 . Your hands are covered in chili sauce and crab and they give you a napkin the size of a square of toilet paper. We asked for more pre-moistened wet towels only to find out we were charged for them.... More

Recognised the name of this restaurant from it's other (presumably original) site that has been mentioned on blogs to do excellent chilli crab. So, despite the prices on the menu, I accepted a scenic outdoor spot while there was a concert on adjacent to the restaurant, the weather was pleasant and I had a view of Marina Bay Sands and... We went there last night with overseas guests, as rightly pointed by other reviewers, they claimed that they run of Sri Lanka crab, how can a Singapore restaurant famous for serving crab run out of Sri Lanka crab for months? Then we wanted to order some steam dishes, the waitress replied that they don't serve any dishes which is steam,... More

The food is really good but they will take advantage of tourists to the maximum!! Do not go here!! You can get crab as good but with better price and better service!! Bunch of scammers!!! Repeat: DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! We came in and they recommended the crab to us. They recommended the crab then without us knowing,... More

The overall experience cannot be worse, terrible terrible service. To start with, we were "welcomed" and brought to our seats by a tepid servant. The bench seats were so worn-off, they were covered with crackings and felt sagging when seated on. When we were ready to order, nobody came to our service despite our repeated attempts to draw their attention,... More

Everything was good. We were welcomed, seated, menus handed out and our drink orders taken. Drinks arrived. We were ready to order. Then - No Sri Lankan crabs available. Only Scottish or Canadian at S$128++ per crab. Not even by weight or size. To me, the No Signboard restaurants had made their reputation with pepper crab and chile crab, matching... More

Regular customer at No Signboard since the time of NO SIGNBOARD at Oasis (Kallang Stadium) . This outlet is nothing anywhere near to what No Signboard at Oasis was! Ambiance ? none ! . Waitress showing us a table was dry and behaving like an "automat" . When we asked about having crab , briskly replied we don't have Sri... More

This is my usual hangout when I crave for crab. Usually am not disappointed. Had Canadian crab For a change. Which is very good, firmer meat with good texture. Had a soon hock which was very well prepared! Had been following them for the past 16 years!! This is home!!

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
