Nothing wrong with the food - clearly well liked by locals. However it did feel like a fast food restaurant without the fast food prices. Not a place to go to if you are not a shellfish fan! Served the red wine straight out of the fridge - which actually turned out to be a good idea as it was... More

This "highly recommended" restaurant is what I would call a typical tourist trap. The staff is so rude, it's almost funny. They clearly don't like their job. But that would be ok, if the food made up for it. You've probably guessed by now that it didn't. The signature dish, Spice Crab, is what it says on the tin. Messy,... More

We booked to dine here. When we arrived the staff were brusque and indifferent. Just short of being rude. When I said I had booked the wait person waved me to the tattered outside menu. I have no idea why. She appeared unwilling to give me the clients menu. The first table we were shown to was behind a pylon.... More

Big night out, slap up dinners only (with prices to match)! Lots of family celebrations, one or two 'formal' business groups, people dressed up accordingly. Wide ranging menu, we sought out the restaurant based on its reputation for chilli crab - which was quite good (in particular the sauce, the best part of the dish) and better than a couple... More

Excellent seafood, especially its outstanding White Pepper Crab (ask for Sri Lankan crab instead, it is equally tasty and local to Asia!- Less $$). Another you can try is the prawns with oat flakes. Yummy! You can choose ala carte or set meals if you are unsure. But my suggestion is always to go ala carte and order what you... More

We were a group of 7 colleagues from different countries who looked for chili and black pepper crab dishes in Singapore. We went to this restaurant. We ordered a few dishes and even though we wanted to order black pepper crab they didn't have ( weird for a crab restaurant). We had to order one Australia snow crab in white... More

We decided to escape from the confines of our Sentosa hotel restaurants and venture into the Esplanade waterfront and what a great decision it was. The restaurant had half filled with customers soon after 6.30, and all of them appeared Singaporean locals. Not a tourist in sight. Yet the crab dishes were clearly priced for tourists. We chose a Canadian... More

Visited with family - was looking for a seafood restaurant with indoor seating, and on the marina bayfront with access to the city lights. Have had a positive experience at the Geylang location years ago and therefore made a reservation to ensure seating. To be fair the food is pretty good - the kids love the fried rice (an ordinary... My fault as I did not read these reviews first. Service is atrocious. About 1 ounce of crab was $120.00 . Your hands are covered in chili sauce and crab and they give you a napkin the size of a square of toilet paper. We asked for more pre-moistened wet towels only to find out we were charged for them.... More

Chuckle all you may, but this unusual name for a restaurant was concocted by the patrons of No Signboard Seafood themselves. Founded in 1981, it is now known island-wide for its creative and original recipes.

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
