I love will always go to your Kouign amanns. Thank you for opening a shop closer to me. I send your pastries to my friends as treats. They love them too.

We went to the tangs outlet then discovered the one in Scotts Square. This one is more comfortable with chairs not just stools. The almond croissant again; just beautiful and packed with almond paste. The hostess was wonderfully friendly and welcoming. This became our favourite...place for a lunchtime snackMore

Verdict: Croissant - really good, very fresh and delicious, must have been due to the baker's outstanding technique and right mix of the (top quality) ingredients used. Probably the best version in Singapore Green tea almond croissant - unique taste, with different taste texture upon...every bite : the filling is somewhat like a green tea-flavoured kind of "kaya", there's also a green tea topping which appears to have a cake-like texture and the generous amount of sliced almonds go very well with the croissant. This is a sweet pastry and so will very likely appeal to those with a sweet tooth Kouign Amman - Imagine a croissant loaded with huge/excessive amount of sugar and butter. Just too overwhelmingly sweet for me. For die-hard sugar-addicts only Overall the pastries are excellent but too pricey to be eaten regularly.More

It’s sad to have my mornings spoilt by very poor counter service. All we needed was to select some pastries to go. Seeing such sour faces and attitude made us think twice about patronising your outlets againMore

The online delivery service leaves a lot to be desired. I made an order at 02:09 PM, and then got busy with other stuff. Then at 02:30 PM, exactly 20 minutes later, I get a message that the order has not been accepted by the...Bakery and has been cancelled. It took 20 precious minutes for the Bakery to tell me that they have rejected the order and not accepting it (via Deliveroo). Please do everyone a favour and do not advertise your bakery for online delivery. This is pathetic service. If you are understaffed or provide the service, then please let customers know, rather than waste everyone's time.More

IMHO, the unique baguettes and croissants are significantly better than at other bakeries, although they’re also about 30% more expensive. The service staff - while friendly - are remarkably non proactive. This is not a one-off, I have noticed this attitude at every single visit....Maybe it’s a culture or underpayment issue.More

My first visit to Tiong Bahru Bakery. This branch is located next to the side entrance of Tangs Plaza, facing Lucky Plaza side. The ambience was cosy and has a Parisian bistro feel to it. Due to the space constraint, the tables are small and...only stools are available. Thus, it is not comfortable and we definitely cannot stay for too long. Maybe that is the aim for business sense. The staffs are warm and friendly, serving with a smile. We requested to change table twice and they accepted our requests graciously. They should consider having a branch with outdoor dining, mist fans would definitely be needed though in our hot and humid weather. I ordered the strongest coffee “Magic” and I would say that it is indeed magically. The coffee is very fresh and strong without tasting fruity (sourness). It is indeed a personal preference but sourness means rancid for me. My first tea trying Gryphons Tea. I had ‘Pearl if the Orient’. After which, I went to Cold Storage to buy one whole box home to drink. The bakes are delicious. We ordered the ham and butter baguette, salmon and spinach quiche and rockets salad, and a passionfruit tart. I will return again but to another branch so that I can try their lunch set. Recommended!More

Best crew at this outlet, helpful and make great conversations! Keep up the good work in making this place so enjoyable. With the limited seating, it is not easy to please everyone. However the service crew made sure we are comfortable, changed table thrice and...the team is so understanding. The external glass panel side is quite hot despite the A/C. Great tea and pastries to a calming afternoon and looking forward to my next visit!More

Visited at 4pm on friday, waited abt 10min to go in with minimal tables inside this outlet. A line of 5-6persons had formed behind us meanwhile so would be wise to visit on weekday rather than after work or during the weekends we figured it...will be much longer waiting time. Once inside, the fragrant of bakery items was aromatic. We order a plain croissant with butter slab given on the house(warm & fluffy), a glass of iced chocolate(tasted awesome), & hot ginger mint tea. Total damage was $19+. Will say it's an inexpensive tea time given its location at town.More
