Set back from the river and more expensive restaurants, this little place served reasonable food and cold beer. The dahl tadka was very watery so give it a miss. The half chicken tandoori style was moist and flavoursome. Could do worse...

On 16th November – The OCC visited Delhi 6 For full transparency, see below scores (out of 10). The voting is based on the votes from OCC members. Restaurants must score an average of 7/10 or above to receive the OCC sticker of recommendation. All...OCC members have been through a rigorous selection process to gain entry into the Club. In short, we all know our curries. Service 7.13 Quality 8.38 Customer care 7.33 Value rating 7.93 Atmosphere 7.68 Total = 7.75 Dehli 6 is once again an approved OCC SG establishment! Proving perhaps that quality does in fact travel!! Comments from Members Really interesting experiment going back and seeing the same dishes that were so popular at the original location. The Fish Tikka is the best I have ever had. I love the broccoli and the Rogan Josh was AMAZING!! Very busy guys rushing around but still took the time to get the chef out. Nice vibey place full of a diverse set of people! Will always be a staple and good that it is now part of Little India. Charred broccoli entree was risky, but feel like it paid off. Would order again. I remember the venue being lively and busy which was fun. Same staff as the Katong branch, so was lovely to chat with the lads again and they were very accommodating. Fish tikka delivered!!! Keen to go back, good curry house A very cool place, with excellent vibes. I vaguely remember eating some tandoori starter and I think they brought the bread and rice late. Only Asahi which is a bit of a shame in LI but overall a good place and it was nice to see the old guard there from the OG Delhi 6 Good quantity and exceptional value for money. Tikka fish was so good we ordered it twiceMore

I'll start with the positives - some of the dishes were very good. The cauliflower manchurian was 10/10 - tasty, tangy and perfect texture. Similarly the dahl makhni was great - well balanced and a nice smokiness. That's where the positives sadly end. Any dishes...that used cream and yoghurt were awful. The mango lassis have not been anywhere near a mango and are just yohurt water. The malai broccoli has so much yoghurt it is inedible. Both dishes have way too much yoghurt and it's as if the chef hasn't bothered to taste either of them. But worst is the service in this place. The waitress had absolutely zero interest in serving us. Not a smile in sight for 2 hours from her. She grudgingly did her job and seemed downright annoyed that we were there! The tables in this place are way too small and not big enough to fit dishes, but not to worry, the waitress grabbed a chair and used that to put our food and acted as if it was our fault. Sorry to inconvenience you Delhi6. I assure you it won't happen again!More

A nice corner restaurant, excellent food and service. The nan bread was just perfect. It’s food and bar concept… for me the music was a bit to loud. Recommend when you are in Little India in Singapore

The decor doesn't look much and it's inside a hotel/mall but the tastes are fantastic. We had some different chats and a lamb biryani to share and it was absolutely superb. We'll done!

made a big mistake of ordering from Delhi 6 on their website. 1hour to deliver a simple meal in Singapore when the distance was less than 10min away. not sure which world are they operating in specially when during Covid every restaurant needs to be...mindful of their customers. As a result cold stale food. the whole experience being bad. Very disappointed! their website did not mention that it takes so long to deliver. I would not give them my business anymore and also have shared my experience with my friends and family in the area to avoid. there are better restaurants who serve hot food delivering within reasonable time. Delhi6 - lots to learn from other restaurants.More

Visited the outlet at Race Course Road, Singapore. Good range of Indian food especially North Indian and wide range of Indian 'breads'. Ordered the platter of kebab and tandoori meats. Delicious together with a variety of naans. Also ordered the butter chicken which went pretty...well with the naans (plain, garlic and butter)More

Delhi 6 is a well established North Indian restaurant located right next to Little India MRT (Buffalo Road Exit) on Race Course Road. Delhi 6 offers a wide range of North Indian food and at a great price, it’s usually packed on Friday’s and weekends....Must try: Jeera Rice, Chicken Tikka, Dal Tadka, Aloo Paratha, Chicken Tandoori, Chicken / Mutton Seekh Kababs and Chicken Biryani. You can also order Beers and Liquor here. Best place for a get together with friends or family.More

On Friday 11th January 2019 – The OCC visited Delhi6, East Coast Road Village For full transparency, see below scores (out of 10). Restaurants must score an average of 7/10 or above to receive the OCC sticker of recommendation. Quality: 7.89 Customer care: 6.75 Value:...7.9 Service: 7.17 Atmosphere: 6.2 Overall: 7.18 Delhi6 IS awarded the much-coveted OCC sticker of recommendation, narrowly making the required 7/10 average Travelling East for the first time, The OCC chose Delhi6 to review. Partly because we had heard good things about the food, but also because we were intrigued to experience this unconventional location. Situated in the basement of a mall connected to Hotel Katong, you could be excused for walking straight past this quite small, unassuming purveyor of spice. If you are a follower of our reviews you will by now know that atmosphere is an important part of our review process so we felt it important to visit a good cross section of the kind of restaurants you will find in Singapore. Atmosphere scored lowest overall with a quite flaccid 6.2 partly due to the location but also due to the small size of Delhi6. As a party of 9 the OCC took center stage with the few remaining tables delicately placed around us. We are quite a rowdy bunch once the Kingfishers get flowing (served icy cold and quite promptly btw) but in such a small venue there is a danger of feeling like you are eating your meal in silence. One of the trialists of the evening Ben ‘Hodor’ Dyas likened it to the Curry house on the moon…Great food, very little atmosphere (BOOM BOOM). When you run a small restaurant you are obviously limited to the number of tables you can sit. But rather than see this as a negative we feel managers should see this as an opportunity to offer great customer care and service. Fewer patrons = more love to share right? Unfortunately this was only partially true in Delhi6’s case. The service was decent. We ordered a lot of dishes and were sinking the Kingfishers like they came directly from the teat of Mama Yashin herself. The waiting staffs were able to accommodate us without any prolonged delays or dips in the evening. Customer care however was a slightly different story. As a party of 9 we booked in advance and made it clear we were coming in to review the restaurant. We were a little disappointed with the lack of fuss made of us and we sat down feeling a little unloved. As one member put it, “I expected better customer care considering our group basically filled the whole restaurant.” In terms of the quality of the food Delhi6 does not disappoint. Scoring a commendable 7.89 the OCC thoroughly enjoyed the variety, presentation and taste of the dishes on offer. A sample of some of the feedback given by OCC members “Weird location but really top notch food”. “The best fish curry I have had in 2018” (please note this fish curry was actually consumed in 2019 soooooo??). “Food was well presented”. The portions in Delhi6 are quite small and the OCC are renowned gluttons. As a result we ordered A LOT of dishes, too many to list here but most noteworthy (from my dwindling memory Mr Chairman) was the fish tikka, tandoori murg and all of the kebab starters. The Rogan Josh, Daal and Biriyani were all very good and were accompanied with fresh roti’s and naans. Everything that came out was bright, colourful and really well presented. Kingfishers are S$8 a bottle. The starters average about S$11 each and the mains around S$15. Not the cheapest curry in Singapore but we feel this represents fair value for the food and experience. A meal suitable for the Mayor of Oakham himself perhaps?? To summarize, you will get a very good meal at Delhi6 and the serving staff will look after you. This is a great venue for a tasty meal but perhaps not your first choice if you want to let your hair down on a Friday night…although we all did (with the exception of VC Billy of course) If you enjoyed this review please follow us on Trip Advisor, check out our other reviews and check back each month for the latest on the Singapore curry scene!More
