Not terribly good but not horrible dim sum either. Price is perpetually 40% off listed price on the menu -- a clever marketing ploy. Service is informal, staffs are forever busy and rushing around the restaurant like ants. You get a combination from rude to semi-friendly staff. I come for dim sum because of free parking at Grandstand and this... More

Reservation is definitely needed as the staff hurry around to various table's requirements and needs. The drunken fresh prawns are served with the live prawns jumping in liquor and it is served piping hot in the claypot. Its liquored soup really warm you and the succulent fresh prawn is crunchy and sweet. The Peking duck is always served on a... More

Went on Saturday and decide to throw a belated birthday dinner for some friends. Ordered a live lobster and requested to do it in fruit salad style, lobster salad arrived 45 mins later with cheapo mayonnaise and canned fruits. The staff even told me the lobster needs to be chill thus longer time needed, what rubbish, shouldnt ice cubes be... More

Came there for lunch with family on weekdays. Dim Sum standard is average, not very impressive. Set lunch is below average. Before we placed order, one waitress sternly told us that wet towel & peanuts are Compulsory, at some $2.4++ per person. Well, that's how this restaurant makes money, but isn't unethical? Some waitresses are rather rude, threw the food... More

Brought our boss to have dinner here as this is one of his favourite eating spots for fresh seafood. After selecting the live seafood from the back and instructing the staff on the cooking method, we then waited in anticipation for the food to be served. As usual, we were not disappointed. Although I felt that the geo clam was... More

This has to be one of our family's favourite restaurants. We used to hold birthday and important functions here before mother and father passed on. Now we frequent this place whenever we go to the columbarium to pay our respects. Dim sum lunch was great. There's a 50% discount for Dim sum during weekday lunch. Good variety of dim sum... More

Visited Ah Yat @ Turf City for dim sum with the family (5 pax) on Saturday. The restaurant serves dim sum every afternoon from 11:30pm - 2:30pm. Overall, the food was delicious and with 40% off ala carte dim sum dining, this was highly affordable given the comfortable and pleasant air conditioned environment. The char siew baos, banana fritter with... More

My family of 4 decided to have Dim Sum for brunch today. We were pondering to go to which of our favourite Dim Sum restaurants. Finally, we decided on Ah Yat @ Turf City as we have not been there lately. The trip there is smooth with ample parking lots for cars. Furthermore, parking is free. the restaurant serve a... More

The last time we had dinner here was almost three years ago and I wrote a review then in TripAdvisor captioned, “Fresh seafood, reasonable prices, good value, good service and free parking!” Well the prices have gone up with time as expected, but can be considered still reasonable if one accepts the subtile reduction in good value. The service has... More

We booked a table for 6 and ordered a set menu. The were ushered to our table that was right below the airconditioning that was blowing at full blast throughout the evening making everything freezing cold. The set dinner started off alright, we had the peking duck which they served something like 7 pieces....what happened to the rest of the... More
