Not far from the Wangz hotel, this bakery is a good surprise for a French family in Asia. The pastries were good and the bread tasty. To recommend.

We had a recommendation to visit this bakery for breakfast or brunch so decided to take a taxi there. We were not disappointed Absolutely fantastic coffee! If you are a coffee connoisseur then this place should not be missed. This is a bustling cafe full of international and local hipsters all enjoying the reputation and yummy baked goods. It is... The almond croissant and Kouign Amann are must-have, I also tried green tea almond croissant, but I think the original is better , and the latte is also great, as for the lime & basil tart, it's a bit sour for me, definitely will go back again 😋😋

The quality and service was exemplory, we had the almond croissants, and I had a long black coffee which was bitter (how I like it) and my wife had a breakfast tea (if you are a fan of a "builders tea" you will be disappointed). I was... More

Absoulutely perfect french croissant. Other cakes looked great too. It can be busy though, however the space aroung the tables is wide enough not to feel that someone is sitting above your head.

I buy this croissant as a gift for my friends. I suggest you buy and cut the croissant in half, you can see the layer when you cut it and see the perfect croissant.

I love this bakery (and their outlet at Tangs) we go quite often and enjoy the coffee, cakes, fresh juice and sandwiches. Plus we are always greeted by friendly staff which unfortunately is quite rare in Singapore. It is however, just a causal cafe, great to pass by but i am not sure i would travel to only come here....... More

They've got everything a Frenchman needs for breakfast! It's easy to find and reasonably priced. You'll love it.

Food was great, and we have waited for twenty minutes for two latés. Kinda spoiled the breakfast experience.

Staying in Tiong Bahru

Neighbourhood Profile
Tiong Bahru
Home to both local families and transient expats, Tiong Bahru is a fascinating mix of tradition and youthful creativity. Its status as a conservation area ensures that this little hub has charm and heritage on display at every corner, while the 1930s art deco architecture provides a glimpse of days gone by. Stock up on fresh tropical fruits at the wet market, browse high quality literature and children’s books, shop for interesting gifts and local fashion, or munch on bargain-priced hawker food as the aroma of frying noodles and fresh-brewed coffee wafts through the air. Cap your day with a massage and a latte, a glass of wine, or a pain au chocolat from one of the many busy bakeries. An afternoon in this vibrant and beautiful neighbourhood is not to be missed.
