I visited this restaurant during the evening, it is in a great location, nice atmosphere and products shown seemed to be good. we returned at around 2230 and were told by a French waiter that the kitchen was closed and that included the cold dishes,...More

Been here about three times. I like the concept and that it's great for sharing in groups. A little pricey for what you get - especially when it's a little unpredictable if the platter will be a hit or miss! But I like the settings...More

This place makes a refreshing change to the other wine bars in Singapore and I would recommend it. Its not huge but nice for a group or date or something perhaps. Yes its a bit more pricey on the food and wine options compared to...More

Went there on a Tuesday night for dinner. While the concept of small dishes to share is nice and the food itself is good (but not great or even exceptional) there is little atmosphere and the place comes across quite cold and uninviting. The fact...More

Platters opened about 18 months ago without much fanfare. The concept is rotating "guest" chefs who devise a menu which is then executed by the house chefs. When I went for dinner last night the chefs were from Table at 7. A group of 9...More

The concept at Platters is fun and simple: every four months, a guest chef (usually local) helps to design a menu for the restaurant. Our menu had been created by the duo behind Table at 7 and they certainly didn’t disappoint with their Asian Fusion...More

Agree the concept is interesting and God knows Singapore needs some dining innovations but for me Platters misses the mark on execution. The venue is rustic/minimalist and none the worse for that but the current offerings lack innovation and originality being bland and devoid of...More

Platters is a wonderful concept. choose from half or full wooden platters with titbits of great flavours. There are meat, seafood, vegetarian themed platters, and are all delicious. Location in Club Street also is fun, in midst of lots of restaurants and lively bars

Was out with several friends and happened upon Platters Bistro & Wine Bar and stopped to have dinner. Cannot say enough how much we enjoyed ourselves. The food is imaginative and creative - the presentation is made for sharing. Food is served on planks almost...More

I couldn't agree more with the last review - we were disappointed by our experience and felt it was overpriced, even by Singapore standards. We had a very nice bottle of Spanish wine, but the food was very underwhelming. Nice atmosphere, but it can get...More

Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful
sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling
sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its
blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an
Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit
almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony
continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to
the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
