First came to Islamic in 1960 with my family and have periodically come back over the past 60 years. The briyani was always the best but it just isn't as taste as it used to.

We went to Masjid sultan during lunch hours. Spotted the restaurant and immediately wanted to give it a try. Order a mutton and a chicken biryani. Loved the service, awesome taste. Worth if you are in the area. Not worth a special trip. Cheers.

Love the nasi briyani and it is delicious. Portion is generous. I recommend you go for the set menu, including some veggies and coffee or tea. Remember to add $1 to upgrade to masala tea, nice.

Great place for a traditional Halal meal, which carries a lot of history. The founder cooked for the nobles and powerful people during the colonial era, and ambiance still carries that essence.

a leisurely coffee or cocktail and watch local kids
play traditional games along the lane. Also home to
