I recommend that you try their hot plate beef in black pepper. Arrive earlier than norm lunch/ dinner time in Singapore to avoid long wait.
Must try the deep fried fish topped with their special Hae-Bee-Hiam (it is like a dried chilli paste with shrimps). Also the herbal chicken is nice, too.
The chef was daring enough to try combining an expensive Soon Hock with assam pedas, but it worked! The greens came perfumed with just enough wok hei to add oomph to the dish.

Please try the pumpkin prawns. It's piping hot and very unique taste. However, it's a coffeeshop area and probably that's why the menu's pretty old and tattered. They do offer little free desserts - I got a heart-shaped jelly once the bill's paid.
