I visited this place on one and had some Rebus Mee and another fried noodle dish, they were both badly cooked and tasteless. I had assorted satay which was pretty okay. The prices for all are high though. A typical tourist trap, I'm sure locals...More

We enjoyed a quick layover visit in Singapore by going to Esplanade and dining at Makansutra. We went with our friends and ordered varied local delights which were sumptuous and authentic. The location is convenient after sightseeing.

At 10 PM on a Saturday, I think it will be less busy. People would already have taken their dinner. Yes, I recall beer is the only alcoholic drink served.
