Throughly enjoyed our plates of this renowned, celebrated dish. Not sure if we loved it more because we had to queue up and find a table in the hawkers mall but the experience was fantastic. Loved the rice, chicken and vegetables. No wonder it is...More

We had some very yummy chicken and rice at this Singapore staple! There’s no doubt why the lines are long!

Chicken Rice was good, however not "wow" good. Meat was very tender, rice was almost amazing, sauce was completing everything very nicely, however unfortunately dish was closer to being cold than at least warm (even that there was just a few people in in line).

The chicken and the rice are both above average but nowhere near top 3 or top 5 hainanese chicken rice I have eaten in Singapore. I must say the queue moves fast as they handle dine-in and take away orders separately. Is it a must...More

Must try this if in Singapore!! Yummy HAinanses chicken rice. It was a little hard to find the stall but we managed to find it. Chicken was very soft and juicy. You must try this!

I’m sure there are better chicken rice stalls out there! Anthony Bourdain and his film crew just so happened to land at this one and the rest is history. Very reasonably priced however

Located in the Maxwell Centre, which despite the massive construction site for the subway, is still the same albeit a bit more difficult to get to. Tian Tian isn’t hard to miss, just look for the long queue and the stall which is covered in...More

This is located in Maxwell Market just off Chinatown. The chicken rice is second to none! Some things to keep in mind. This place gets busy from about 11.30am until 2.00pm. Very popular with local office workers and there is a line. Maxwell Market is...More

Tasty succulent chicken rice. The chicken was soft and tender, rice was oily and aromatic. Will come here again

This place is easy to find, just look for the really long line at the food court, can’t miss it ;-) For the two of us, it was cheaper to get half a chicken and two bowls of seasoned rice (to have both dark and...More

Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful
sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling
sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its
blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an
Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit
almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony
continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to
the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.

Almost all chinese businesses close during Chinese New Year. That is the only time in the year they are closed. Tian Tian should be no exception.

It depends on when they run out of chicken. Sometimes as early as 4PM. If it's closed, you can always try out the nearby Ah Tai Chicken Rice stall. It's run by Tian Tian's ex-cook, and closes by 8PM :)

Celebrity chef and host Anthony Bourdain once said that the rice here is so good that you can eat it on its own. One of the most famous Hainanese chicken rice stalls in Singapore, Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice is located in the Maxwell Food Centre, with long queues forming in front of the stall every day.
