Spanish food at its best!! When in Boracay this is the place for excellent Spanish food and service. Their menu and wine list can compare with the best in Manila. Everything we had were yummy - paella, baked oysters, callos, Gambas, salpicao and chicken. This...new site is still ok even when it’s not near the beachfront.More

Contrary to some reviews here, we found Dos Mestizos to be friendly and satisfactory. It might have been the timing because we went there on the last week of July which is an off peak season. Fewer tourists and restaurant patrons so this gives the...crew some time to get their acts right. The cochinillo was good and the paella is prepared superbly though it’s still different from the paella dishes in Malaga, Spain. Cheese baked oysters are fresh and the manchengo that went with the jamon serrano is heavenly. We even ordered some take outs the next day to match our whiskey binge. Oh well, different season, different experiences in Boracay. Just go and get lost with what the island has to offer.More

We ordered cuchinillo and paella for our main dish and gambas for appetizers. The gambas had shrimps that were the size of an oversized pea. they were so small that they were just meant for garnishing on fried rice. And they had the nerve to...charge P850 for one small serving (we ordered 2). Then came the baby pig (cuchinillo) which was very hard to chew. The skin was as tough as leather. On the other hand the paella was ok and was just right. The service was atrocious! We had to get our own water since no was attending to us! The owner was just there sitting by the bar while the customers were not being attended to. They were understaffed and way overpriced. Will definitely not come back here.More

Dos Mestizos was the worst restaurant we visited in our one and a half week stay in Boracay. Aside from the oysters being so small for ₱520 for 6 pieces, I say pass. We had the lamb shank and the serving was so small for...₱1,520++. The croquettes were oily and didn’t have a sliver of Jamon Serrano (3 pieces only) Don’t bother coming here, big regrets and a hungry tummy.More

Everything on their menu is surely a must try. But make sure to ask the waiter what’s their most best seller so atleast you’ll have a better idea what to have especially if you’re not too familiar with Mexican Spanish inspired food. Their homemade chorizo’s...are superb!!!! Over all highly recommended place to try if you will visit Boracay. Food price is somewhat affordable , reasonable but make sure you really planned well on your budget before making a reservation. 👌More

One of the best Spanish restaurants I’ve been to, and not just in Boracay. It’s pricey but worth it! Our favorites are the lomo de vaca (medium rare), beef salpicao, paella negra and sea food paella, the oyster fritters. The other stuff we tried, fish...salpicao, oysters with jamon serrano, lamb shank with rice, calamares and clams in white wine sauce were also good but our favorites were a cut above the rest. Part of what we go to boracay for is to eat in dos mestizos! The Sevice is excellent, the ambiance is lovely. I must say, dos mestizos is our overall favorite restaurant as a family. Will be going back for lunch again today one last time before we head back home tomorrow and will try their bacalao, steak and their chorizo this time (as well as our favorites again!) Here’s to discovering if these will land in our favorites too!More

All I can say is, you must visit this restaurant. Everything was delicious! We ordered jamon serrano, calamres and paella valenciana. They even gave us complimentary sangria while waiting. Don't forget to call for reservation!

This is one memorable dining experience. Specialising in Spanish cuisine , it has an extensive menu that will make me come back for another culinary adventure. Expect to wait 30 minutes for each order. But it was worth the wait. You are not here to...be rushed. Bask in the ambience. We felt fortunate the place was not fully packed considering we did not make a reservation. Enjoyed the paella negra , lengua oxtail , and half chicken in garlic. For appetizers we had the jamon serrano. We asked if they could make fries for my daughter, and they make one from scratch. Service was polite and non intrusive.More

If you are craving for Spanish food while enjoying Boracay, this is a hood place to consider. A bit on the pricey side, food is very good. Paella is worth it. Serving portions though are on the small side for the appetizers priced at PhP400+...per order. They offer a good selection of wine and the place is cozy and welcoming.More

No dress code here. Bikinis welcome. We sat outside and didn’t think we’d need a reservation. Sangria was nice. Paella, calamari and steak ala pobre were good. The chorizo and lengua were very good. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Visited 2x while I was in Boracay. My friend and I ordered a handful of tapas as well as a paella during each visit. Their vegetarian paella needs work but the rest of the food and service was good.

The new location is better, and I liked the brighter atmosphere. Food was great as usual, especially the Fish Fillet with caper butter! We wiped the plate clean. And the Baked Oysters al Espagnola and Lengua de Vaca were spot-on. We skipped the paella which...we always had in this place, but I remember it to be good also. Glad to know they kept the quality. Two thumbs up!More

But seriously no service water for customers? I believe it is a basic right and being stingy or for whatever reason just doesn't cut it. The waitress even gave a lame excuse that it's because of the water repair in Boracay. I remember a TV...personality was lamenting a similar situation. "While there is no national law that requires commercial establishments to serve free potable water, according to the 1987 Philippine constitution, “The State shall protect and promote the right to health of the people and instill health consciousness among them.” The United Nations, of which the Philippines is a member state, recognizes access to water and sanitation as a basic human right. Local government units (LGUs) have taken it upon themselves to enact ordinances requiring restaurants to provide potable water for free.More

As close to Barcelona as you can get in the Philippines. I have had tapas many times in Barcelona. This restaurant does not exactly match, but with the difficulty getting tapas ingredients in the Philippines comes very close
