It was a completetely new experience for me - I knew that the population is extremely friendly - I (we!) we will return

The place is crowded with travel groups and the taste of food sucks. The toilets are dirty and one of them got blocked with the toilet floor full of suspicious liquid. I don't understand why this place can be rated 4.5 points until I found...out in the comment that the current one is a replacement of the old one. Now just a Chinese seafood restaurant for travel groups. Not recommended at all.More

I was never a fan of shrimp, until I tasted Gypsea Shack's salted egg shrimp. It was so crunchy and the salted egg taste is so tasteful up to the last piece. You can't help but to sip into the shell (or what do you...call it) or skin of the shrimp. If I we're not worried about digestion, I was gonna eat those too. Seafood fried rice was a winner too as well as their pork string beans. Servings are good for 4 - 5 👍👍👍also priced well. Value for money 👍👍👍 Conveniently located on the main road, perfect for meetings as they have private rooms good for at least 12 people. Definitely the best Chinese Resto in the island.More

Came here 2 years ago and the food was great. Sadly to see it's now closed and changed to a boring chinese seafood restaurant which obviously mainly serves chinese tourists especially tour groups.

I was very disappointed. We ordered crab and prawns. So the price of the crab is 300 pesos/1 gram. So you have to order 3-4 grams to have 1 PIECE OF CRAB! So that's 900 pesos for A PIECE OF CRAB?? What kind of bs...is that? The prawns are also 300 pesos per gram and the prawns was 2 tiny pieces as big as a normal shrimp. Don't outsmart your customers by being extreme cheapskates with your serving. What a bad experience... sucks that you have a great island vibes place but you fail to serve your customers right. -Jenny - BaliMore

On my last trip to Boracay I found myself in this unique establishment. Right when you walk in you are warmly greeted by their friendly staff. Now this when the fun begins because you first notice this not your typical restaurant/bar. I only describe it...as a supersized treehouse. Both adults and children will just love the ambience of this place. I was there on a Sunday night when they also have a live DJ just elevating the vibe more. Now lets get to their food! All I have to say is you should try their thin crust pizza but you have to try the Jake’s Mussels. Delicious! Give this place a shot on your next or first visit to Boracay it is well worth it!More

My family in Boracay took me and my daughter here while we vacationed last December 2016. The food was delicious and the music was great. I loved the Korean style spicy ribs and baked scallops!

For my first time in Boracay this was the best venue I visited, and I tried lots of places. The vibe is great, the food is top notch and the service is second to none. The owners are very personable and friendly as well. Anyone...who visits Boracay should watch the sunset and then go to gypsea shack :)More

Boracay never ceases to amaze me but this bar right here just added more icing to my island cake! Their crispy pata and crabs were worth coming home for! The owner was very hands on and always checked in with us. We came for lunch...then decided to come back for some pre-game drinks only to find out that it's not a pre-game place...it is THE GAME VENUE! lol cool vibe, cool peeps...great food! Definitely my first order of the day for my next trip!More
