I changed upon this place while getting lost in Jakarta. The cafe decor was wonderful and drew me in. Pity the menu was not in English, so I could only order using whatever Malay knowledge I had. It's good and quiet for relaxing, compared to the bustling of the traffic.

This is probably our favourite breakfast place in Jakarta (and also lunch but we usually go for breakfast). The bubur oey with the separate kuah (spicy coconut sauce) is a favourite as is the nasi item (I like the full plate; my wife the daun bungkus). Nasi briyani is a treat. And the kopi Indochine (Vietnamese coffee) served the Vietnamese... More

The concept is lovely, directed by famous culinary explorer, Mr. BO. He would like to serve good quality coffee, enjoyable, with reasonable prices. Try their specialities menu, you won't regret it :)

This coffee place is a good hangout place. Depicts a old Chinese style coffeeshop. Expects a good variety of coffees and some good food too. Ambience and service is a place you would return to.

We went here as it was right next to our hotel and recommended by the Lonely Planet. It is a lovely establishment for a coffee or breakfast where many locals seem to come to start their day. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We had one of the best Java Coffees of our trip here and some lovely choices... More

Singkong Sambal Roa to die for, i can't even describe how good this is. Combination of fried cassava and Sambal Roa just make an oddly good dish.

We came here for lunch and breakfast as it's closed to our office. It's a traditional shop with local chinese coffee and breakfast. Love the chicken noodles here, very yummy when you add the sweet black sauce on it.
