Summit cafe is the only cafe that we visit often. We prefer summit cafe is for the taste, service, cost and environment that attract us to visit. One more important factor is that it is operated by an American, after all cafe is a western culture. We choose the authentic ones.

Great coffee and even better cakes! However, prices are quite high. There are two Summit Cafes now. One on Danjielin Rd and the other on Bejing E Rd.

Got the best coffee my company and I had for days. It is exepensive (Chinese Starbucks-ish) though worth if you craving a good cup of coffee

I went here for breakfast. The coffee was really good and the bagel I had as well. However, the latter took quite a while - even though I was the only guest. But, it was right in the morning when they opened (which is at 8:30 as of June 2016) - so maybe they were not ready yet. Staff was... More

Submmit cafe is located right in the Lhasa old town and easy to walk there, i think coffee is fairly good but cost is very expensive, also people smoking inside the cafe and i feel like in a Bar.

As you may know, due to the expensive cost of delivery, Lhasa is falling a little behind in terms of coffee supply. "The Summit" is well-known since the Italian Owner promoted this place on Lonely Planet and other English travel guide and media. But the fact is overestimated. The service sucks compare with some other local Tibetan Cafe, the ingredient... More

This cafe had just moved into new premises down a small alleyway and is now called the Cafe Mocha or something like that. However, It still uses the Summit Cafe coffee mugs and plates and has some nice pictures by local artists for sale on the walls, so it's not very clear what is going on. Nevertheless, it was certainly... More

This cafe offers a taste of home with the best coffee and pizza in Lhasa! The items are a little pricey but would say that its worth it. The cheesecake is also divine. Service and staff are wonderful. Cafe has a western toilet. Seating is comfy and cosy.
