There is a bit of a wait but its all worth it once you bite into the dèep fried pork chops. Other samplings would be the sweet and sour pork, crispy ribs and sweet and sour fish. Serving time : 8 - 12 mins Place is a bit tight and always full especially for lunch

This is my must visit place, everytime I go to Hong Kong. Love the pork and vegetable rice very much The last time I also ordered menu of the day, get the fish head cooked in bowl. Taste very good too. But the place is very compact, better to avoid visit during lunch or dinner hour

Pork rib and rice was fantastic. Other dishes were also tasty but the pork is a must! Seem to only have locals in it and came with typical HK service. Would recommend and reasonably priced

This is one of my favorite restaurants (a Michelin star restaurant included) in HK. First, it's a hole-in-the-wall restaurant that is clean, has full English menu with pictures (if you ask for it; at the register), won't break the bank but most importantly...it is DELICIOUS - just as their restaurant name! Must order: hot & sour soup (best ever!), pork... More

We found this place after waking through Food Street and found everything too Western, we wanted authentic local food. It had been a hectic day at the HK sevens and we were a bit worse for wear. They were full when we asked for a table and said if we waited it would be 10 minutes, we waited inspired that... More

It was about a year since my last visit. There are a lot changes. Me and my friend think the same. The taste was not as good as before. The crunchyness of the porkchop and even the vegetable rice is not as good as before. Maybe chef changes?

My first visit to this restaurant was not as I hoped! This was entirely my fault as I chose a dish entirely for the Chinese palette (braised Beef Tendons). Whilst this dish was clearly very well cooked and presented and the service quick and friendly it was not to my taste, although, I did it justice so as not to... More

We went to their branch in Ashley Road. We ordered the ff: pork chop, yang chow, chicken & cashew stir-fry and some veggies. The staff was accommodating. I'm not sure if it was the owner or the guy was a chef. He recommended the chicken & cashew. I enjoyed this more than the pork chop. (You can ask them to... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
