This was my second to try Outback in Hong Kong. The last time was 2 years ago. We had enjoyed “Fried Mushroom” and “Rack of Lamb Outback Steakhouse Rack of Lamb Cabernet Sauce”, both of them were good. The Mushroom was crispy and the lamb taste juicy. For drinks, we ordered two strawberry lemonade. Unfortunately, it was too sweet for... More

We haven't come across this "Aussie" chain before but its pretty good. The menu is varied and the food and drink is good. Warm welcome is assured and it's clearly popular with the locals.

I've been a big supporter of Outback since first arriving in HK in 2011. They train the staff right, and they smile and move fast even on busy nights. We would frequent the Causeway location, just adjacent to IKEA at least once every two weeks. Good food, pleasant work ethics, and always very clean. This is a new location, also... More

Sometimes traveling just gets the best of you and you need a little bit of comfort food in the form of steak and potatoes. The staff here are so cheerful and they provide top notch service. My steak was cooked perfectly (medium) and all the sides that come with it are killer.

We were tired on our first night in Hong Kong and we just wanted something we knew. This was reliable if unspectacular. The service was efficient and the food was most acceptable if somewhat pricey. A good dependable choice.

Real American food in hong-kong. You can always pass. You know what you want and you know what you get. Only too cold. Why are these aircos always so cold in HK. But it's a good sign we only complain on that.

Came here for a quick casual lunch. This is a fast casual restaurant so I came with low expectations but still, they were not met The Filipina waitress came over and whispered her name, so we can't figure out what it was. She seemed new , but was definitely clueless , had no idea about the menu details The bushman... More

I enjoy stopping here for a solid meal. The steak is always good and their salads are awesome. Never had a bad meal here.

A typical American steak house for meat lovers. If you prefer fish, Salmon Steak is still available for you. It is not cheap, but this is normal in Hong Kong

I ate an outback special that arrived 10 minutes after I ordered it. Was a little rare but I'm not complaining when service is that fast. Tried to make eye contact with the Cute bartender - alas she was too into her job!!!

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
