This restaurant has had a new chef for sometime and there is improvement in food quality. It is expensive but not the most expensive, however considering its luxurious competitors in the same area, Tang Court, Shang Palace....it suffers competition both in food quality and in service standard. The restaurant is decorated in traditional Chinese style that may be eye-catching to... More

The quality of food was mediocre but the price is expensive! We didn't want to go back again, even the hot desserts were served lukewarm if not cold!

We enjoyed 5 different selections, sharing with each other, and the array of flavors were both nuanced and delicious. We especially liked the minced pork and shrimp dumplings. The mango pudding was a light and intensely flavorful dessert, perfect!

We had a fabulous meal at Spring Moon. The decor is reminiscent of a 1920s Hong Kong home with beautiful wood and interesting objet d'art artfully placed throughout the space. I had one of the signature dishes the Wok-fried lobster with black bean and chilli sauce and it was delicious.

Dear awedMollys, Thank you very much for your 5* review about your recent dining experience at Spring Moon. I was delighted to read you could indulge into Spring Moon’s reminiscent design of a 1920s Shanghainese dining room. Moreover, I am very pleased that Chef Gordon Leung’s Cantonese specialties - in particular wok-fried lobster - were to your liking and that... More

Once one enters the Spring Moon at the Peninsula Hotel Hong Kong, it is like being on the set of the Tea house scene in the movie "Kill Bill". The restaurant, with its stained glass windows and plush dark teak furnishings, truly captures the ambiance of an old Chinese inn at the turn of the century. As authentic be the... More

This is a lovely space, don't expect the din and clatter of a local restaurant - that's just not allowed. All the dim sum was excellent and delicately made. Flavours we're distinct and excellent A little more expensive than the normal - worth it? On special Sunday brunches - absolutely.

I had a dim sum lunch there. Choices were a bit limited but tastes were great. Services were attentive as one could expect from a 5 stars hotel. Ambience was nice and comfortable. Overall a decent dining experiences but not the cheapest choice in town
