Amazing egg tarts with a buttery light crumb base instead of the typical flaky pastry. I definitely prefer these over the other but everyone is different! A classic local snack and a must try in Hong Kong.

Simply cannot fault the egg tarts here. They're so popular sometimes there is a wait, which makes you appreciate them even more. These guys are famous for their tarts, I enjoyed them so much I didn't try anything else there. Slightly more expensive than elsewhere...More

What's popular culinary from Hongkong? Egg Tart. You should taste this one since this is the first Egg Tart in Hongkong from Tai Cheong Bakery in Tsim Tsa Shui Pier.

We stopped here specifically to taste their famous egg custard tarts. They were warm and good. They didn't blow me away, but we enjoyed them.

As the other reviews suggest, the egg tarts here are unbelievable. We had them every day with a cup of hot coffee, a perfect combo in the morning.
