A classic hong kong style congee and noodle small restaurant in Jordon area. Not the chained restaurant style but you can taste the authentic Hong Kong style

For those who love pig liver n kidney, this is the place to enjoy this. Both were cut in relatively chunky slices and cooked to perfection. The noodles and congee goes well with this dish. The shop opens early for breakfast and close quite late to allow for supper. Small place so there may be a Q during peak periods.

You can find this place hidden right off Nathan Road in Yau Ma Tei neighborhood. We decided to stop in here after a long day of walking around. Great to have some comfort food to wind down. This is a small shop so not to great for large parties. We ordered a couple bowls of congee plus wonton middle soup... More

My family had breakfast at this small eatery. The porridge was delicious. You can ask for an English menu if you need it.

I love the ingredients they used especially the liver. The down side, the porridge is abit watery. If you looking for a quick fix of Hong Kong Congee, I would say is good enough. Best of all, not Q.

This unassuming and hidden congee place in Hong Kong is worth the trip! They have best congee in town. I prefer the pork which I think is their signature congee with goes perfectly with their bread. The price is just right in the pocket and doesn't break the bank. The service, well typical for most of Hong Kong where they... More

We came here based on other TripAdvisor reviews, as my mum wanted abalone congee and we struggled to find good results from places for it in HK island. Which is a shame, because there used to be a few good places in causeway bay. The abalone congee here is delicious - the congee itself is thick and silky, with a... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
