This is a nice restaurant serving traditional favourite dishes. The seating was comfortable and the service was very efficient. We ordered Salmon and Steak which were both very good. The complimentary bread tasty and served warm. We would dine here again.

On the one hand the card is very international and offers famous dishes from all over the world, the staff was very polite and ambiente is old-fashioned but cozy. On the other hand we had a very simple side order of a poached egg which could not be fulfilled due to apparent lazyness of the kitchen staff, despite the fact... More

I always visit Jimmy's on the Kowloon side and it never fails to disappoint. Great atmosphere and nice surrounding, fantastic menu and the food is wonderful. Old fashioned service which works so well, nothing too much trouble. It is pricey but worth it, a nice treat while in HK.

The perfect end to a wonderful day of sightseeing!! Jimmy's Kitchen came highly recommended by a friend (with whom we dined). I had gotten accustomed to the slightly slower service in China and Hong Kong and since we didn't have limited time we relaxed and enjoy chatting and our drinks while we tried to decide to eat. We were a... More

Ended up here by chance when we where strolling around after symphony of lights. Its not so many good restaurants in the area. The service is perfekt and we got a free plate of different snacks. The food was really good. Highly recommended when you are on Kowloon

A classic European restaurant has serviced HK for over 100 years...while they still maintain a high level of service standard as well as food quality. Majority of the service team have worked here for few decades and the amazing feeling is they all have passion to recommend us the best of the best from the menu... If you come next... More

Sadly I am writing this review to tell you that the Jimmy' Kitchen as we have known it, is no more. My husband has been coming to Hong Kong for fifty years, and a regular highlight was a meal at Jimmy's Kitchen. He introduced me to this old world restaurant with its panelled walls, leather chairs and traditional British fare,... More

A dear friend took us here for lunch and it was a walk down memory lane. The walls were covered in old photos that evoked another era long past. The waiters were seasoned and knew our host by name. That added a warm familiar touch that was accented. I couldn't remember the name of the restaurant so my friend whose... More

As a born and bred Hongkonger, it feels almost treasonous to call Jimmy's out: but folks, the legend has well and truly died, and that's a sad thing. There was a time when a meal in these dimly lit surrounds would set the world to rights, so solid and comforting was the food and so avuncular the service. Many people... More

Jimmy's Kitchen established since 1928. It is one of the oldest restaurants with rich of heritage history in Hong Kong. Patrons of Jimmy’s can enjoy their all-time favourite dishes within comfortable, relaxed surroundings. The red sofas and dark green high stools, together with the open wine rack behind the bar, create the perfect place for winding down. The intimate dining room is furnished with dark-wooden furniture, where old pictures of Jimmy's Kitchen and Hong Kong, as well as daily life in old-time Britain, adorn the walls. The semi-private room at the back of the restaurant is separated by a foldable door and an individual entrance.
