We went in with low expectations thinking it would be a mediocre tourist trap on top of Victoria Peak.... it was delicious! We asked the waiter what the specialities were and he said curry because the chef is Indian. The tandoori sea bass was amazing!...More

First ate here 43 years previously, this was originally the old sedan chair rest. Over the years it has transformed into a smarter and more upmarket/ expensive restaurant. Food ok, service excellent. Really friendly staff and whilst it was hosing down outside it was cosy...More

We went with small family. Due to slight rain, outside was closed. We could not enjoy the great view. Food and service was good. We only had fish and chips. So nothing complicated. As said, good but nothing special and quite a price. Ok, it’s...More

Visited for the atmosphere and history. Of the cluster of restaurants in the peak shopping center, this one seemed to be the nicest of the sit-down restaurants though the decor was a bit artificial and canned. I found the naan to be well proportioned and...More

I believe it is possible to make a reservation and my friends had reserved a table for us. However, when I was there the restaurants were uncrowded so I doubt it was really needed.

Situated above the city overlooking Pokfulam Country Park and the South China Sea, The Peak Lookout is a Hong Kong landmark with unique character. The restaurant, having served generations of patrons including both locals and visitors, offers fine food within an elegant heritage house seeped in rich history. This Grade II historic building, typifying 'East meets West' architecture, first began offering light refreshments in 1947 and continues to serve a wide range of international dishes of exceptional quality. The Peak Lookout recently reopened its doors following a stylish redesign, which includes the introduction of a contemporary raised terrace, ensuring a relaxed ambience ideal for al fresco dining. The restaurant's stunning location and natural surroundings means it offers guests a different experience each visit, depending on the time of year.
