There are always a long queue, but we were able to get the seat within 20minutes, shared table. Me and my friend manage to try their famous scrambled egg toast. Also their traditional steamed egg white with fresh milk and almond steamed egg pudding. Taste not bad, but it is quite difficult to finish this two bowl of steamed egg... More

Definitely worth a trip down to try the scrambled egg toast. Somehow the egg is really smooth and tasty. Not sure why but it has a special taste and it's not just the plain scrambled egg taste. The 杏汁炖鸡蛋 & 蛋白炖鲜奶 are also worth eating here. Might be a little sweet though :)

We arrived here at 8am for breakfast and there was already a long queue outside. But fret not, the queue moves quickly. I was really amazed by the waiters' speed and movement, especially the guy who assigns the customers where to sit! I guess food was ok. I was not really astonished by their famous scrambled eggs. Come here and... More

Queue was long but it moved quickly. I'd rate all the 5 dishes 5/5 and honestly all these are the best tasting ones among the other cha chaan ting I've visited over my trip. Good to know what you wanna order because the staff aren't friendly enough to wait for you to make up your mind.

We arrived at the place at around 10:30am. There was already a line, fortunately, the table available was for four (there were 3 of us and the others on the line were most probably couples or solo diners) so we got to skip the line.we were seated in under 5 minutes! We rushed thru the menu (we asked for the... More

We reached at 5pm. There are some available tables and no queue. Scramble eggs and egg puddings are good - very yummy. The service personnel are quite friendly at that hour. Guess we're lucky.

I had not been to HK for 6 yrs and this is my must go when I went to HK this week. I used to go at off peak time after 2pm, but this time was there at 12:45pm and there was a longer line. Going alone it is always so much easier to get a seat. I can't speak... More

My son took me here as it is a popular breakfast haunt in Kowloon. Very busy diner type restaurant. Be prepared to make friends as they will sit you with someone to fill a table. The buzz and making friends for me was fine. I just did not like the food. Set breakfast is chicken soup with macaroni noodles, followed... More

Best on the Menu, Scrambled Eggs, slightly salty. Rest of the food on the menu are just average. Kudos to the speed of food being served and the simplified set meals. They got English Menu if you can't read Chinese. 早餐 (Zao Can) -Breakfast Set 茶餐 (Cha Can) - Lunch Set 快餐 (Kuai Can) - Tea Set Prices keeps increasing.... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
