Came to this place again to pick up a beer in daylight, so "happy hour". A nice Blanc draft beer in a friendly atmosphere... Later maybe some lose women there, but at this time all easy going! Grab a Beer and watch Sport on large screens in a nice place!

We opted for a bar lunch and I had an awesome chille con carne! I live in Australia but I felt as though I was back in Britain eating here!

Friendly helpful staff, lively atmosphere and inexpensive drinks. I've not eaten there but the food looks good and also isn't expensive. If you are in wan Chi and need a drink this is the place.

When you travelling around it is always nice to find a place with some decent food and cheap drinks. This restaurant definitely offers that. From crazy hour to happy hour to nachos made with Doritos this restaurant is a good place to have a few drinks with some friends and enjoy the nice weather.

So imagine a "typical" English pub and what do think of? An old fashioned country pub, full of atmosphere, character and characters, maybe 200 years old, low lights, old wooden beams, some memorabilia hanging on the walls from times gone by and excellent cask ales with a wide ranging and varied menu that includes traditional English food. Alternatively (according to... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
