This place has amazing food! They have changed the name to Hindu Curry Restaurant but the quality remains fabulous. Friendly service in a very small place.

The food was reasonably good Indian food and the options were vast. We ate for lunch and they serve a very good set lunch including soup, main meal and drink for around HKD 50. The portions were large and the onion naan (included in the set) was very good. The service was also friendly and warm. The atmosphere is laid... More

I meant to try this place for some time and was in Shau Kei Wan today and passed by the restaurant. So we went in. If you are a tourist, I would recommend you to try somewhere else that serves local Hong Kong food. But if you really like Indian food and is around the area, then do pay this... More

Good indian food including different level of "spiciness", nams, etc.... Good lunch set in a street with many restaurant options.

This restaurant has two branches, one in Shau Kei Wan and the other in Sai Wan Ho. Recently, the Sai Wan Ho establishment has removed itself from its roots, and begun to serve more Western dishes. What a mistake. This is one of only a few Michelin rated restaurants in Hong Kong and was a gem. No longer the case.... More

Visited with a friend on Saturday evening about 7pm, very busy place (of course). Got a small table for two upstairs, VERY noisy! Although that's nothing new in Hong Kong! My intention was just to have masala chai and a light snack as we had theatre tickets for 8pm. We ordered samosas, pakoras and chai, then suddenly my friend ordered... More

We were heading towards the MTR station at Shaukiwan on our way home after having a fish ball noodle lunch at a nearby restaurant, and it occurred to us that Hin Ho had been highly recommended by our friends some time ago. So we went in and ordered two curry dishes. Although our stomach was almost full, we had no... More

This is my second visit to Hin Ho and have been totally unimpressed by the service both times. I appreciate that it was busy at lunch time, so can forgive them for not taking our order, bringing the wrong dish or missing our drinks; but some basic customer service wouldn't go amiss. I asked for the fish from the daily... More

Hin Ho Curry is an unassuming small restaurant on the Shau Kei Wan Road near Sai Wan Ho MTR station that at first sight led me to think we'd come to the wrong place for a Michelin Starred meal. We went early for lunch and the place was 70% full before we sat down and was quickly at capacity. We... More
