Hidden away from main street, this cafe hides along one of the less explored place. Deco wise is average, what sets this apart from the other cafe is coffee. Cafe Latte taste great with the aroma surrounding ones tongue after taking a slip. Cheese cake wise is not too cheesy (I prefer the cheesy type) but there's a nice after... More

...and I was nonetheless very pleased with our choice to come here. My girlfriend's coffee was, apparently, delicious, and I was absolutely made up with my 'iced chocolate' drink. There is a long list of coffee choices too and the staff really took their time getting it right so it seems somewhere that coffee lovers would really appreciate.

This coffee shop is off the beaten track but is well worth looking for. I stopped in for a tea and a bit of cake and it was delicious and beautifully presented. They clearly take their coffee very seriously and I will come back for more. But don't tell anyone how good it is or I won't get a seat... More

Coffee is nice. Ambiance is really cool but very expensive ... It could be explained by the fact they use an authentic good coffee. And unfortunatelly, this coffee hasn't get a good location ... Good place and hope to come back again ! PS : Love drawings of cats/dogs ! Really cute !

Great coffee at a fair price. Plays chilled western music if that's your preference. Cool decor and roast there own beans.

One of the best coffees I ever had while in Hong-Kong.. the place is well organised and has taken care of every small detail. Place has good assortment of coffees and other beverages and the prices are not too high.

In the past, I would stop at the Colour Brown coffee shop in Sai Kung for a cup of house coffee or one of their single origin blends. Coffee drinks were usually quite good. Sadly this branch closed up shop in last year. However, you can still try Colour Brown at their Yau Ma Tai branch just off Austin Road... More

Very poor standard of food - one piece of toast, a greasy egg, a siice of processed cheese and a tiny slice of rubbery ham for $56. Coffee utterly tasteless and almost makes a Starbuck's coffee seem like coffee. Many other places in Sai Kung that offer better value for money.

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
