The famous porridge shop is popular with locals, the place is reasonably clean and expect to share table with others.Service is fast and friendly. They have 2 shops side by side, apparently one has beef noodle. The fish berry porridge is pretty tasty, fish is...More

Wide variety of congee, this place is very local means I would be the only random guest looking non local eating there. Place was small but food was great. They have wide variety of congee.

When we read reviews of this place we have to concentrate on the food and not the service. The ambience is one of squeeze. Looking at what the other customers are eating and making yourself regret what you ordered, is half the fun. But always...More

This is a typical local restaurant, no fancy decoration. But taste if the food is mind blowing. The congee are excellent, noodles were very nice too. Everything taste so good. Highly recommend. And don’t worry if you don’t speak cantonese, menu has english description.

After tasting Nathan Congee, I can assure you that Sang Kee is also second to none for delicious congee. I like the fact that they offer ‘small size’ for customers who are not big eaters. My favorite dish must be ‘Century egg with shredded pork’...More

Visited early in the morning as it was conveniently close to the central station. Although no english was spoken, we were given pictured menus which definitely helped. The wife ordered one with fish and I ordered one with the beef. Unfortunately we did find the...More

There are many types of congee, so know that the version served here is very thick and “mucous-y”. Still very tasty though a tad salty. I really liked the fish congee but the plain is good too. And we loved their fried Chinese donut to...More

Easy to locate the place. Since it is famed for the fish congee, i ordered the fish fillet congee. Careful, lots of bones in there. But the congee was smooth and lots of meat. Fish was fresh and very tender. Definitely worth the visit!

Sheung Wan MTR exit A2 then Hillier Street heading south (opposite direction of HK harbor) for short distance then Burd street turn right for the original location or just that interaction for the bigger store.

Mostly the same but this shop's congee is good and reasonable price. They have a wide range of congee menu as well as noodle.
