Came here after in-town check in before my flight later in the day. Good location since very close to the check in counter lift and airport express. I ordered the caesar salad and the angele dessert. Shocked by the size of the caesar salad. Huge bowl! I liked the croutons and bacon and i liked the shaved mozzarella cheese. Generous... More

A very nice place for tea and a piece of cake, although is not as good as at the old location, still better than Starbucks. The iced ginger tea is very refreshing and vanille is my favourite cake.

Great croque monsieurs and wonderful pastries. For the IFC Mall, relatively quiet. At noon on a Saturday I didn't have to fight for a seat. I suspect because on the top level of the mall, but regardless I liked. Good staff as well. Only comment - for the price, it would have been nice to have more than 5 (i... More

Great escape from the hustle of IFC in a cosy and classy atmosphere. The lunch sets offer great value, particularly with the vouchers from Cathay Pacific toiletry bags! The food and service are decent.

I went for their weekend lunch buffet. Some seats have habour view, some dint. I love their decor. The appetizers and desserts were part of the buffet selection and you could choose the mains from the set lunch selection. The service was good. It was nice and quiet, a much needed respite from all the hustle and bustle in the... More

When you go to Hong Kong, you anticipate spending more money than usual in a restaurant and this was also true of this experience. The difference, though, is that the money we spent in this restaurant was worth every cent! The staff were efficient and friendly and the ambiance was felt in every corner of the restaurant.

A lovely place to enjoy lunch or an afternoon coffee/tea and dessert. The interior rooms are cozy and quiet and a great place for intimate conversation away from the shopping mall to which it is attached.

I went to la Loggia with my husband for lunch on April 30th. It was a very busy hour, the restaurant was almost full and we had no booking. Nevertheless, we were greeted with smiles and given a nice table. The setting is very relaxing and plush, with a lot of books on one of the walls, giving you the... More

Excellent cakes and coffee... great atmosphere too. A little jewel in the bustle of HK. We ordered 3 cakes to share amongst 4 and each were unique in their own way. Although self service for this particular service, it could not be faulted. Situated in the IFC centre.

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
