Was taken to this lively restaurant by a friend. It was crammed full but we were seated at the bar which was brilliant because we got to see the food being cooked. Food was excellent and the beer was fantastic. It is quite small so be prepared to wait for a table. Highly recommended!

We went here on the recommendation of the hotel resident manager of the hotel we were staying at in Kowloon. We got there at 7 pm and and were seated right away. We had a Far east smash, Srirachelada and Kaffir lime margarita they were really excellent. I really like to order 1 or 2 items at a time and... More

Perfect for late night drunk food or perfect place to stuff your face before/mid going out. Great ambiance. Mega friendly staff will make you the strongest pitcher of alcohol that won't taste like alcohol (maybe I lost my alcohol-palate from excessive drinking but it still tasted good). FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!! Choose any of the rolls, none of them will fail... More

We had a fab meal at this very popular restaurant. It was almost spoilt by the one hour plus wait for a table but we enjoyed a few drinks outside and the manager kept us sweet with a couple of small snacks. We really enjoyed the food here and the service was quite exceptional. A very small area and so... More

Tiny restaurant. No reservations. Fairly quick turnover I think. Everyone tucks in quite close to each other. We sat at the bar where you can watch the chef and his crew work. We ordered shrimp pomelo salad, beef tartare, pork belly skewers and short rib beef wraps. All were pretty amazing and full of flavour. My least favourite was the... More

We loved this place! Couldn't find it during the day on a scouting walk, too quiet and shut down. But at night we located it easily - people waiting to get in, buckets of cold beer at the front door, lively atmosphere. The food is incredible and it's worth the wait to get in. The miso cod is not to... More

You cannot book a table so take a stool on the street and enjoy a drink first, normally quite fast turn around. Sitting at the bar is also good as you can watch the lively kitchen. Food was excellent again. Wide selection of tapas. If you do not have enough then get more. Only comment would be their cost of... More

We had a great time here. Had he buncha and was quite the bomb, almost like the ones in Hanoi, pork belly were perfectly well done. Kaffar lime chicken salad was great too. Must try the pho-jito, a mojito with chillis in them. Overall superb food, great staff cant ask for anything more. Do come early coz I don think... More

Always busy but food and service is definitely overrated. Had a terrible experience here before with a very rude diner who wanted my friend and I to move over so he and his girlfriend can have more space (despite no room left on the counter space seats). We couldn't move any further or my friend would had been at the... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
