We were just looking for a quick snack lunch and McSorley's fitted the bill perfectly. Service was very quick and the food we had was very nice.

McSorley's is gone - this place is now called The Saint (although the bills are still printed McSorley's). A shame to see HK lose another pub with character to be replaced with a bland bar that looks like every other bar in SoHo

Typical Irish pub with decent snacks to go along with beer. Despite not housing a wide selection of beer, it certainly does the trick for an after-work drink with colleagues. Love the big TV screen showing live sports game too!

If you like Irish pubs for food & beer, then this is worth a visit, in Soho. We had the baby rack of ribs, and they were really nice !!! why don't you try ???

This is a great pub with more TVs than most in HK and quite a bit of seating for the area. The beer selection is great and the burgers are definitely the best on the menu. The other appetisers and good are just average. If you are looking to watch some sports though, this is a great choice.

As an avid lover of the one and only original McSorley's in NYC, i went into this place wanting to hate it for stealing the name. After one very tasty Cottage Pie (aka Shepherd's Pie) and some cold, refreshing beers, I couldn't bring myself to say anything bad about it. It seems like a place I'd be a regular at... More

Fantastic beer list. Great traditional pub fare. Really good old school pub atmosphere. Bar girls get to know you and your drink very fast.

Been here a few times and love the atmosphere especially when the rugby is on! Great bar food recommend the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich - a weeks carbs in one sitting! Quirky spiral staircase to upper bar an loos that becomes quite entertaining as the evening progresses as the more squiffy cliental attempt it - especially those in high heels!... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
