Four of us sat down to a Sunday roast dinner. We had soup to start with followed by their roast chicken, which was very tasty. My two complaints although very small was that they served such a small portion of sauce/gravy that we had to ask for two extra helping each! When they came, there wasn't even a tablespoon in... Afternoon tea is one our favorite activities while traveling. It's a nice way to take a break from sight-seeing and shopping. Four Seasons is always a favorite so we made arrangements to try the Lounge at the Four Seasons Hong Kong. The traditional favorites were served and were quite good. Service was okay, not overly attentive, more on the cool... More

We booked high tea here for our friend's birthday. Right from the booking, the service was excellent. We arrived a bit early but they sat us anyway. They had organised for a little birthday message on the tea stand and had the live pianist play happy birthday too. It was perfect and made our time there so special. The scones... More

We ate there for dinner as a family, and we were also hotel guests. For a Lobby restaurant, we thought the service and food were outstanding. There was an authentic wonton soup and some noodle dishes that everyone loved and as I said the service was also really good

Approach the mellow jazz sounds of the piano trio playing by the entrance, and meet the incomparable Felix, Assistant Manager, and prepare to enjoy his ministrations. He will help you choose a table that seems private, - an illusion from the clever arrangement, and assist you with the menu deliberations, which are made difficult by the many appealing choices. There... More

For over ten years, The Lounge in The Four Seasons has been one of the very best lobby lounge I have visited in Hong Kong. Its location is extremely accessible. It's connected to the IFC Mall, and the hotel itself is within a short walking distance from MTR Shun Wan station, MTR Central station, and also the Shun Wan ferry... More

The Lounge is a great place for an enjoyable dinner in this five star hotel. Located alongside IFC One - it is a good location for dining after shopping in the mall. Menu offers a range of cuisines - western, chinese and other asian specialities. You can mix & match starters, salads, mains and dessert choices. There is also a... More

Great service as part of the four seasons experience. Flavourful foods. Impressive bread basket. The decor is contemporary and adds to the feel. Love the braised tofu with rice. The music was good but there was too much of ambient chatter and sound that jarred the calmness the place could have offered. Well it was a sunday lunch in hk!

Of the three restaurants at the Four Seasons, this is the one without a Michelin Star. Considering the meal we got, they should be awarded a star. During Sept they have a visiting Chef, Andrea from Italy. The meal was simply amazing. Price was not cheap, but commensurate with value. I chose the chef recommended course (you should too). My... The danger of having a friend stay at the four seasons hk for the first time is that they think all the restaurants are equally good. Caprice is stupid awesome- the chinese Resto: double awesome. The lobby lounge.......is room service in a neutral/sleepy lounge restaurant. The poor chap next to us fell asleep in front of his lap top and... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
