At Tsim Sha Tsui, strategic shopping location, Hutong can be reached by walking through corridor after exit from MTR station to Peking Road always with cover without the troublesome of hot sunburn and rain. Wooden table and chair supposedly Ming-style but ergonomically wrong design that you feel the discomfort from the first few seconds. The so-called the signature menu with... More

Very inventive cuisine and lovely flavours! The fantastic harbour is a distraction from the food so don't bother with a window seat. Must tries- ribs with sweet vinegar and cod with fermented bean paste.

Stunning views to the island of Hong Kong - which you pay for plus food that is not memorable. Try The Chairman or The Chinese Restaurant if you want sophisticated delicious Chinese - but no view.

We enjoyed a very pleasant meal trying a number of dishes, all were good but only the osmanthus glazed beef flakes were exceptionally remarkable considering the prices. Great view of Hong Kong, attentive and friendly staff and nice ambiance.

gorgeous atmosphere, some great chinese furniture, lamps. mesmerizing views of the hongkong island and the light show at 8.15 pm. the food was delicious and we had very attentive and helpful service. we could indulge in dim sums finally, as we missed them for lunch time the previous day- superb that "hutong" has them within the evening menus

I ate here with a group and we had a fabulous meal. Although we had a set meal which was hugely seafood based, I had the vegetarian option. There were so many dishes, I must of had over 20 and couldn't manage them all. Food was first class, nothing was too much trouble. Very attentive & courteous staff. I would... More

We really looked forward to having authentic food here. Unfortunate we were very disappointed and in fact left hungry. The space overlooks the Victoria Harbour so that's nice. But the food was slow to come and those that have any kind of food concern (ie gluten or vegetarian) were out of luck and served very oddly considering all factors.

I have lived in Hong Kong for four years and whenever we have out of town guests we always take them to a Saturday/Sunday brunch at Hutong. The atmosphere is good and the view of Hong Kong Island is breathtaking. The food is great and easy manage for non-Chinese travelers. That said, it passes the credibility test with local and... Description
Reminiscent of an ancient family courtyard in one of Peking's fast disappearing hutongs (courtyard houses set between narrow lanes), Hutong's interiors are set against the most breathtaking skyline of any international metropolis. This is not the only surprise. The sense of adventure and sheer avant-garde creativity continues in the innovating cuisine inspired by the culinary styles of Peking and Shandong province.
