English spoken and happy to give advice on what to order. Slight disappointment in that the dish I wanted was not available. Food came quickly and was plentiful. Large menu with good vegetarian options. Address is Nathan Road but entrance is just down side street.

Initial thoughts are we are European in a Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong, the staff were pleasant but still felt distant. Food was good and very busy. Price was mid range, have had better service in smaller Hong Kong cafes!! Wine expensive as always in Hong Kong. Mixed views not a lot different to many similar restaurants

One of our go-to places in the TST area for dinner...we've been here many times and it still served tasty food and had friendly service. We came here on a weekday and surprisingly we were able to get a table right away. Only drawback about this place was that it was located downstairs and doesn't offer an elevator for those... More

Wu Kong doesn't look like much from the outside since it's located downstairs, but when you enter the restaurant you will be surprised to see that the restaurant is quite big and full of people. Apart from another couple, we were the only "tourists" at Wu Kong. The rest were locals which indicates that this is a great place. And... More

We arrived to HK late in the evening and after checking into our hotel, our first order of business was to head to Wu Kong for dumplings. We also ordered Shanghai style fried noodles, sautéed vegetables, beancurd with preserved vegetables/edamame and fish in wine sauce. Thank goodness there are pictures on the menu is all I can say! We left... More

Wu Kong has been serving customers in Hong Kong for many years. Their Xiao Long Bao are very nice, Gung Pao chicken is excellent. Clean and efficient. Considering the location the prices are reasonable.

So we were after something a bit smarter than street food, and found Wu Kong Shanghai. It's on the corner, but downstairs.... where it's smart and there is a nice buzz. The waiter (Philip) was great, but suspect other members of staff were a little more serious. The food was good, of a high quality, the Dim Sum was particularly... More

Having spent our last three days in rather smart HK restaurants (all good), we needed to go local and Wu Kong delivered.. This below stairs and very bright Kowloon restaurant seats 140 and we were the only 4 westerners- good sign! Our waiter instantly recognised us as hopelessly lost and guided us through the menu. We ate very well (... More

Expensive by local standards, a bit more than I'd expect to pay in Sydney. Chicken with jellyfish had neither life nor flavour. Manager visibly invented a charge for steamed rice that did not appear in the menu. Given nature of dishes and cultural preferences hard to believe most of them aren't eaten with rice so if there is no charge... More

The entrance to Wu Kong is not on Nathan Road but is quite easy to find. The basement restaurant had mainly local customers when we went in for a late supper. That's normally a good sign, but our food was no better than average. Perhaps we would have fared better if we had arrived earlier, because the place was recommended... More
