Every time I go to HK, this restaurant is the first I want to eat. Though well famous in HK, the price of it is very cheap except the seafood. For those who come for the first time , the spicy crabs is the special, but other food such as the beef and chicken are worth to have a try.... More

Highly reccomended by a friend who told us about the great tasting but super expensive crabs. We ordered a small typhoon crab, egg with tomato and a plate of French beans. The crab was so so so good! We had it fried medium spicy which was actually too spicy to taste the crabs and fried garlic (coming from a Singaporean,... More

Ordered the clams and green beans as a starter/side dish, very tasty. The spicy crab with fried garlic and chili was very salty, and a bit small for the two of us. We were told to order that amount. Paid about 700HK$ for the entire meal with two soft drinks, a bit pricier than I thought. Toilet was not very... More

We've been here on previous visits to Hong Kong and ate here on our first night of our week long trip this time. We hadn't booked but despite being nearly full they managed to accommodate us upstairs. The food was as good as we had remembered, we had the clams and sweet and sour pork, great. At its busiest this... More

Went there on a whim as a family of 3. The staff was the nicest i have encountered in Hong Kong. Our waitress helped us choose the yummier dishes and what would be suitable for our 2 year old. The food came out really fast and the crab was delicious, not as good as what you would get in Singapore,... More

I decided to have a late night diner and asked the front desk for directions. They assured me it would be open at 10:30 at night -- so I headed out. It took me about 10 minutes to walk to the location. I was greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately. I did notice the place was packed even at... More

This restaurant started with very good food, but as it got more popular, they just totally changed the standard. Food and service quality descreased rapidly while prices increased rapidly. Beware of this tourist trap.

Though I am a huge fan of the food here, I was very disappointed this time around. We were kept waiting 30 mins for the first crab, and then another 20 minutes for the second crab. The waiters mostly ignored us, and even when we asked them for the food, they didn't seem very interested. In the end, we had... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
