Most dishes were tasty, however is it deserving of 3 Michelin stars? probably not. Not a place you would go back to (irrespective of price). On the matter of price, if you order abalone, you bill will quickly escalate from $200 to $2,000.

A friend and I thought it would be a bit of fun to close out our Hong Kong Trip there, and we were not disappointed. The room itself was a very pleasant, clean design. The view from our table by the windows was very nice....More

We visited in October on a 4 night stay over before heading onto Perth Australia. I’d pre-booked this as a treat to do the taster menu with associated wines. Surprisingly the restaurant was very quiet. I did expect it to be busier given the emphasis...More

From all the restaurants we ate in I would say this was the most special and probably the most traditional meal we came close to having. We were lucky to go with some friends who lived locally and knew what to order. Its great place...More

very very average food at expensive prices. You can get the same at Maxims restaurants. other places like Mott32, Dimsum Library, China Tang offers way tastier food with better service and comparable price. dont bother, maybe come for the view.

My wife and I were brimming with excitement at the prospect of dining in what is dubbed “the world’s best Chinese”. We were very sad to have to come to the realisation that this restaurant is more a case of the emperor’s clothes. We are...More

The room is beautiful. Tables well spaced and fabulous views over the harbour. For the quality which was fabulous the food was reasonably priced. Stand out staff member was sommelier Bernard. We love trying ‘local’ produce and had 3 bottles of different Chinese wines. They...More

Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies
with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The
area widely known as Central is the major financial
hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up
to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open
late into the night and there just happens to be a
street party every weekend. Although everything seems
to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of

I think dinner is easier to get, but I would still make reservations as soon as possible. You can always cancel, but at least you've got the reservation already.
