I have been already a couple of times. The food quality is really good. Not spicy type. I been told by Chinese that is a traditional Beijing hot pot. Not many tourists and no English spoken. The menu has quite a lot of images. You can handle the visit with basic words or a translator app. Don't expect extreme hospitality... More

Meal was good! Service not really cared about us. Probably try to rip off tourists. When I paid they brought back a 100 yuan note and told me it was a fake. But the money I just got two hours before from an ATM.

wondered into this place before we visited jingshan park for it's located a few steps away from the north exit of the park. we are glad we picked this place. the hotpot was the traditional copper-made, sliced lamb meat, huoshao (bagel like), sugar/vinegar cured whole garlic, etc. all were tasty and great. the only part i didn't like was they... We went to the restaurant without having any idea of what a hot pot is, or how the concept even is. Which was kinda a mistake. I read many good reviews about it and people saying that it was the best way to experience some traditional food. It is all very true! But no one mentioned that nobody there speaks... More

1st restaurant we ate at in China/Beijing did not disappoint. Nice atmosphere and cooking food on table was much fun and a little messy, what a blast.

I return to this Hot Pot place every time I visit Beijing to savor a genuine hot pot fit for royalties as the generation of owners actually did exactly this in the Ching dynasty. There are plenty of proofs in thank you notes from royalties of the past hanging on its walls. The choices lamb parts are tender and fresh... More

All the hotpot restaurants I've been to before have a single bowl of broth, sometimes split for two different ones, that everyone shares. Here everyone gets their own burner and broth. The menu has good English and very clear photos and one member of staff spoke English as well. Despite that, it doesn't feel the least bit touristy. About 200g... More

This is a very large Hot Pot Restaurant. Local clientele and very busy. Not a tourist spot but the menu is ok for those of us who are not Mandarin speakers. The Hot Pot is a collection of meat and veg that diners cook in a beef broth pot that's on the table. Very tasty, very unusual... Highly recommended

First time at a Beijing hotpot restaraunt and it went well - friendly, helpful staff despite language barrier, big choice on menu and busy with atmosphere. Novelty great, but probably takes a bit of experience to get the taste combinations right.

Food and service were good. Had hot pot elsewhere in China and this was different having your own hot pot. We got there at 5.30 and were seated after almost an hour, only issue was we weren't offered any drinks whilst we waited but did notice one other patron did purchase water so it was possible. English is limited by... More
