Came here while I was staying at the JW for a business trip. The food was excellent. Came here twice for lunch and the pasta was cooked perfectly. Expensive for china, but compared to San Francisco (home), it’s a bargain! The chef came and greeted...More

We both had pasta which was cooked well but the sauce was a bit bland. Unlike restaurants that we are used to, the bread arrived well into the meal. The service was good but the food was ordinary.

People who have ever been in Italy or in really good Italian restaurants in any other country should skip Caslingo. Food is at best average. They probably have limited number of pizza furnaces / ovens because ours were coming in sequences. Calzzone is stuffed with...More

Antonio made us a special pizza, which he called a kiss pizza, kind of like a light calzone, in pizza dough, full of vegetables, artfully prepared. Accompanied by mini tomatoes stuffed with mascarpone.... and ended with espresso! a wonderful lunch.

The first famous Chef Luca has since been replaced by Antonio. And the first couple of times I visited Casalingo with Chef Antonio was surprisingly good- as good as when Chef Luca presided there. However - the quality of the food is straying for initial...More
