On our first morning in Cairo, after arriving on a very early flight, our driver took us directly here to meet up with our tour guide. We were really hungry so he comes out of this place with falafels (in pita) for all four of us. I've tried falafel in other countries (never for breakfast) and they've been just okay.... More

We ate at this place, the food was good and the view was espectacular. We wanted wine wit our dinner and they went out of their way to make sure we have our wine, Although they don't sell wine. Great people

We tried most of the falafels on the menu! Our favourite were the hard boiled egg ones which had a lovely hint of cumin. I'm not a huge fan of foul but if you are then they do various types!

The first night, we ate at Felfela on the recommendation of our guide and enjoyed delicious local food including pigeon, falafel, and other local fare. All our food was delicious, the service friendly, and cost inexpensive (at least by Western... More

Our guide Mina Samir brought us here after we requested to have an authentic Egyptian lunch. There are two parts to the restaurant: the sit-down place (where we didn't go) and the more casual walk-up place where you stand in line, order and can then eat at the informal tables next to the street, or can takeaway (we sat at... This restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you appreciate a view on the pyramids with your dinner. The staff is extremely nice and professional, the food is good quality and reasonably priced. My favorite dish was taamia with eggs, but the stuffed pidgeon was also a big hit with the family.
