Nice cosy pub like experience in vibrant Zamalek Cairo area. Has a lounge jazz bar vibe too. Stylish but not over the top.
Quite a trek if you don’t have a nearby hotel and the manic Main Street with the beeping horns and masses of people make it an experience getting here. The bar is quite small with a number of areas for groups to sit at plus bar seating. Screen offers sports. Music plays at a nice level. Decent pub menu too. Snacks and nibbles catered for.
Smoking does spoil things for me coming from the UK where bars are smoke free so your clothes don’t smell and non smokers don’t feel they have turned into smokers. In fact i did feel a bit short of breath with all that even though I assume there is an extraction system.
Staff seemed helpful and ok to deal with. Price seemed reasonable for alcohol drinks. Shame you have to seek these places out and not more bars are available.

Stopped in for an early dinner and drink. Sangria was very good and also on special. Food was very tasty but did take a while to come.

Just been to the museum so I popped down to see this popular place. It’s hard to find so open your eyes but when you do it’s a good find. It’s cosy, clean and well managed. Prices are reasonable for food and drinks. I got a seat at the bar between 2 groups of British and some business men who came to watch a Liverpool match. Bar man was excellent and the food put out looked really tasty and good helpings. You need to be able to withstand smoke so be prepared. It was a Saturday evening 6ish so nice crowd and not jammed. No loud music either. Mixture of couples and singles. Will be back.

Very bad attitude.
We tried to call them to reserve a table many times but no one answered so we decided just to go there. So of course we don’t have a reserved table so they let us sit at the bar mentioning that some people will go soon and we will get the table. We ordered a beer and then one person left and there is exactly table for two. We asked the waiter but he said that drinks only at the bar.
I don’t understand. We looked so bad that they could think we are not able to pay or what? Or they can read faces and know for sure we will not eat?
And this is our second time here and last.
First time was almost the same situation but we decided to give the place the second chance.
Doesn’t worth it.

Went two times:
Second time: arrived with our backpacks as we would travel late at night, they told us there was no space but yet they told us to get in.. probably to check ourselves..after that we got out and sit to have a smoke and wait for a while if anyone leaves, 2' later the guard came and complaint that we harassed the flowers with our backpacks!!!!
The first time they left me waiting for 10min even if they had already told me there was space to sit at the bar..after waiting and nothing happening, noone was giving me attention and everyone told me to wait I left.
Definitely not recommend it, bad attitude and arrogance! Also super noisy

I really love this place specially zamalek Branch, it's very cozy and full of nice people, I use to go after work sometime to have dinner or drinks, for Zayed branch I do love because it's indoor and outdoor, music is great, food is so delicious and staff is professional and nice, I recommend for group of friends who wants to hang out in style ❤️

Loved the atmosphere of this place. The quality of the food was a surprise as were the very reasonable prices. Staff were very helpful and efficient. A real find on the island of Zamalek. Highly recommended.

I went there with my friend. I ordered a bottle of heneiken and my friend orderes coke but he was refused by the waiter saying that he must order food then only he will get the coke..the behaviour was rude

We were asking for drinks menu and they told us we don’t, we ordered 2 whiskey sour what we got was whiskey with lime juice, after showing the waiter how a whiskey sour should looks like he just told us we make it differently, I told him if he would have a menu I would already noticed that they don’t a clue about decent cocktails.... Finally the check - we had to pay 220LE net for a cocktail which wasn’t worth the name and they dare to told us our mistake as we didn’t ask for price !!!!!
Never again!!!!
