This is not the best pizza that you will ever eat, but it is pretty good pizza for Maadi. As long as you don't expect the pizza to taste like it was made in America, then you will be ok. Pizza is one of the foods that Egypt has not mastered yet, but this pizza will do in a pinch.

I went to this reputable restaurant with high expectations to be served the best pizza in the country, but it was really average. Although I ordered a funghi pizza (mushrooms & olives), Pastrami was added by mistake which made my pizza smell really awful. Pizzas are 2/3 times pricier than any other same level pizzeria in Egypt. Drinks and deserts... More

Was starving over at Fairmont Nile City and googled for food. This came up on tripadvisor and we decided to walk over to Zamalek. Definitely not very conducive for dining in - tall bar seats and small tables - and smoking is allowed within the restaurant (pretty common in Egypt). Service was average: adequate but don't expect them to go... More

Awesome Italian food in Cairo. Our hotel was in walking distance from Maison Thomas, and we ate there multiple. Although the food was excellent, we didn't fully appreciate just how much until we has eaten Italian food in other restaurants, there was one in Aswan...oh what a shocker...but that's another review. The cheesecake fulfilled my need for sweets, and was... More

Pizzas are excellent and a wide range of toppings etc. Salad choices are a bit limited though. They are in Zamalek, Heliopolis and Al Rehab City

I dont get the amazing reviews. It was kind of prices and not very special. Cool ambience, feels like Italy. But the food wasnt very special. No toilet is a minus.

Prices are ok, atmosphere and service as well. We all ordered pizza and calamari salad which was fine. I didn't like the furniture very much;rather designed like a bar or short-stop cafe.

Maison Thomas has several branches all over Cairo and its suburbs (google to find contact info). Best pizza in Egypt but upscale prices by local standards. Try their Marinara (seafood) pizza for a treat.

Maison Thomas has been for me a once in awhile treat if I get tired of cooking or Egyptian foods and flavours. They have great Pizza's and burgers. The Pizza's are really good.
