There are plenty of cheaper than usual korean goods within the mall and we always go food tasting or coffee tasting before purchasing what we like. Most importantly they have kimchi tasting and flight preparation for your kimchi purchase.

This is your typical supermarket with OK prices and a good selection of whatever you need to stock up including a Daiso. It's always crowded though, and make sure to bring your own reusable bag (they charge 100 won per paper bag or a rather...high 600 for a plastic one). Otherwise, they offer cardboard boxes and packing tape for free. Minus one star for the food court for somewhat high prices, and also charging extra for tourists (at least one place had a higher price for the same item on the English menu vs the Korean menu).More
We stopped initially to look for Korean snacks and food to take away but we also ended up grabbing a quick lunch. For shopping this store offered many different food items, Korean and international, and apparently was popular with tourists who were filling their carts...up. The aisle ways were crowded more than I expected. Once we got to the checkout, it was clear why, as the store was able to complete tax free purchases over a certain Won after scanning the person’s foreign passport. Post payment there were counters where boxes and other packing materials were available and those same people were stuffing their purchases in them. I assume for take home but could also to avoid paying for plastic bags ( which Stores no longer just give them out). Off to the side a number of different casual restaurants were serving a variety of food at their counter seats. We opted for the noodle shop and ordered wonton, udon and cold buckwheat noodles along with sides of gyoza and Xiao Lin baos. Prices were very reasonable, service was quick and the food was good. Besides the crowds, this was a good stop to get our food gift shopping done.More

Lotteria and Lotte Mart are not locating together. I don't know how the title created. Lotte Mart Seoul Station is always crowded by locals and foreign tourists. I see many foreigners packing huge chunks of things at the end. Since Seoul Station has an AREX...connectivity, it's good to buy things before leaving Korea. Or first place after arrival. The snack corners in the mall are good, too.More
Great selection of everything Korean and International goods that you might need. There’s even a local daiso store located at the entrance of the mart. Deposit your luggage on the right of the entrance and you can shop at ease with tax rebates done on...the spot. Do remember to bring your passports! Check up the fresh meat section where there’s abundance of amazing selection of locally bred cattle. Forget the US grade for that matter. There’s even a countdown shelves of what tourists buys when in Lotte mart. Market O, Honey Butter nuts, Maxim coffee are all on the TOP list. In this market, it’s not what you can’t buy, but it’s what you can carry back to the hotel. Rest assured that even though no bags are provided, you can use the well sorted out packages carton pressed and ready to be packed and taped up. All provided by Lotte mart and recycling motives.More
