Was doing some random search for nice soupy food within Myeongdong and Migabon came out as one of the top few options here, so I decided to go up and give it a shot. True enough, I was pleasantly surprised by how the porridge tasted!...Really loved how generous they were with their ingredients, and their big servings! You know that the food is decent when you managed to wipe out the whole bowl, including the side dishes! So I would really recommend people to drop by if you are around the area and you are craving for some comfort food at a relatively affordable rate! The restaurant is located at level 2 and you will need to be sharp to spot the restaurant!More

I recommend going here with your friends coz their portion was big and it's so expensive. I ate a big portion of chicken with my other 2 friends and we still left some coz we were full. And each of us paid around $10

Tried their abalone porridge and ginseng chicken soup. Was quite disappointed by the taste. Not worth the trip.

We ordered the abalone congee and crabmeat congee. While the abalone congee tasted wonderful, the crabmeat one was closed to tasteless. The type of congee was not my favorite where you could still see the rice itself. I was expecting it to be totally boiled...and melted forming a soft thick soup texture.More

Migabon is one that comes to my mind when I think of Korean-style porridge. We had it the last time we visited Seoul and were looking forward to return this time. Back then we savored every bit of their abalone porridge, it was around KRW...8,000 to 10,000. This time, it was removed from the menu, and replaced with pine mushroom + abalone porridge at KRW 20,000. Expensive isn't it? Taste-wise, it pales in comparison to the regular mushroom porridge at 8,000. I'm disappointed coz the abalone bits are too tiny to see. What I saw at the supermarket was 6 whole fresh abalones selling at 9,900. So I figured next time we crave for porridge, we are better off with Bonjuk.More

The moment I stepped into the restuarant, the sesame oil was heavenly. We ordered the ginseng chicken and pine mushroom and abalone porridge which were very delicious and comforting on a cold winter night. I will come back again for the mushroom and oyster porridge!!

We had our early dinner at Migabon Restaurant to avoid the long queue and also to secure seat by the window . Migabon is located on the second floor of a building in Myeongdong shopping district, which also housed another Korean restaurant on the ground...floor. From the window seat, we could see JMsolution and Royal Hotel Seoul. The restaurant was neat and decor was simple with many wooden chairs and tables. Staff were friendly and helpful and could speak English. We ordered pumpkin porridge and Ginseng chicken soup with schisandra tea .The delicious ginseng chicken soup was served piping hot and the pumpkin porridge was good. We enjoyed our dinner.More

Are you asking about the queuing line? It'll be the left line facing the building. The right line is for the restaurant on the ground floor. Migabon is on the 2nd floor.
