I came here for afternoon tea and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't fantastic either. For the price, the food was average and I suppose we were paying more for the ambience than the actual food. It's a great place for taking pretty photos and...More

We enjoyed dinner at Le Planteur one evening. As it is on the shores of a lake, it was lovely. The tables were beautifully decorated and the food was truly delicious. I would like to go there again!

Beautiful restaurant located on a colonial villa . Have 4 menu degustation tasting menu vegeterian, seafood or mixed food plus some dishes a la carte. Prices are reasonable . Service is great. Fully booked might as well book table in advance.

The menu is not very big, but what the offer is excellent! The wine list is as good as anywhere in Paris, London or New York. Do visit the cellar.

I have been to Le Planteur 15-20 times. As most times before we go there for lunch. There daily bistro business lunch is usually very good and price is also good. This time we ordered juice to drink. Grapefruit juice and their fruitilicious juice. Grapefruit...More

This is a truly unique experience. We had a beautiful meal (the Planteur's set menu) in a tranquil garden, situated lakeside in a leafy and lush part of Yangoon, with ducks wandering around (no joke, the politely check if you a crumb to spare). You...More

Truly enjoyed dining in this beautiful place, food is excellent & service attentive. Impressed by the detailed decor, unique washrooms, couch & the many variety of ceiling & wall lights. Not easy to get to but it's worth the trip & experience!

We loved the food and the amazing ambience! A bit pricey but worth it. We liked the steak, the seafood platter and desserts. A basket of bread served and complementary soup. Super liked the interior design and the outdoor tables setting! Would have ordered more...More

Our expectations were exceeded! Being part of a group, and offered a set menu, we didn't expect the care and attention that was extended to us from the food to the wine which was constantly topped up. The atmosphere is amazing with the geese and...More

WE HAVE MOVED TO 80 UNIVERSITY AVENUE. Le Planteur opens a new restaurant on Inya Lake, at 80 University Road. Le Planteur (Inya Lake) upgraded even more to the next standard of finesse in quality, standard and ambience!! And so, Le Planteur (Inya Lake) remains faithful to its concept, in a stunningly attractive venue!! It is an exciting and wonderful evolution and change for Le Planteur - but the things you and I love about Le Planteur have not changed. A new Chef arrived at Le Planteur! The team is proud to welcome Chef Gil Dumoulin who will be in charge of the fine dining restaurant.
