Great spot to see locals, in centro. Can be a bit crowded, but I sit at the bar if there is room. Good place to experience the local food, and people watching scene.
Lovely eatery right on the main square, with tables outside and bar-stools at the counter. Very helpful waitresses, delicious genuine food served in huge portions. We went twice, very satisfied both times.
This was the get together place for early Peace Corps volunteers. The Lido is a great place for a quick lunch or breakfast. It is cheap and very good. I enjoyed the food offered.
The Lido Bar, established in 1953 is famous for the high quality traditional food. Even the great Anthony Bourdain came to get some food there. If you are in Asuncion and love food, thats the place to go. Not cheap, but worth!
