Casa vieja is a great place to try the real colombian flavour, in a beautiful house in the city center. They have the typical dishes from different regions of the country. Soups are great!

We ordered the Almuerzo Campesino and Ropa Vieja for lunch. I highly recommend ordering the almuerzo. It came in a large clay pot and the broth was so flavorful and delicious. The juices here were also really fresh and it was some of the better juices we had on our trip.

If you are looking for authentic Colombian cuisine, this is definitely the place. They have a big variety of dishes and most of them were looking delicious. We tried the Ajiaco and the pork and we were very satisfied with the quality and the portion size. This place is only open for lunch.

Service was quite floppy, as they failed to explain two times how the plates were served or prepared. They ended bringing us 3 wrong plates. TERRRIBLE! you better head to McD, they should be able to help you better.

Excellent Colombian food, good cocktails and service. Although we did not speak the same language as our server he still made sure our every needs were met.

My husband and I went here with our friend/guide for an authentic Colombian lunch. It was perfect! The food was absolutely amazing (we tried the Ajiaco con Pollo and Sancocho de Gallina). Our friend/guide took care of ordering as we are not Spanish speakers but I assume they'd have been helpful in the event that she wasn't there. It was... More

The look and feel of the restaurant is good, it's like eating inside a local family house. Staff gives you a warm welcome. But when things don't go as plan for them everything changes. I ordered a seafood soup 'Cazuela de mariscos' and the taste was very, extremely fishy and the octopus and shrimp was very chewy. I explained the... More

Casa vieja is located in a very old house that has a lot of charm. They offer good typical Colombian food and they have very kind and careful service. Their dishes cover every gastronomical tradition in Colombia and this is quite a good venue to try local foods. Their traditional meat stews are the best. Try the Sancocho , the... More
