I choose it due the walking distance of my hotel. The food is outstanding with a very good service. Wasn’t crowded for a Thursday night, I had a reservation as well. The appetizer pancetta is a must. Each one in the party ordered a different...More

It was one of the best seafood restaurants I have visited. While staying in Bogota I really wanted to eat something new and surprising. We found Matiz near to our hotel. The octopus, calmars and other specials were just amazing.

This could be the best diner I've had i Colombia. The service was great and the food was great! My husband ad I both had fish dishes. Unlike the frozen seafood in most Colombian restaurants, this was fresh and tasty. The dessert was somewhat odd,...More

As the fanciest restaurant we had been on our trip to Colombia our expectations were high. The menu, albeit a bit of an eclectic mix of European, Asian and South American food, seemed very promising. However, it simply did not deliver. Service was great, very...More

Full disclosure: I've been twice and had the tasting menu with wine pairings both times. I cannot speak to the a la carte service, but the tasting menu was fantastic. If I've got one expensive dinner in Bogota it will be Matiz. I love Harry...More

Matiz is a restaurant where you will find nothing but the most personalized service. The cuisine is caracterized to be very eclectic and contemporary, we use the best ingredients and the chef, Nicolas Quintano, is behind every preparation. At Matiz you will find colombian Haute cuisine mixed with some peruvian, chilean, oriental and mediterranean influences combined with the best service in town.
