I suffered from the worst possible altitude sickness during my last trip to La Paz, Bolivia. My altitude sickness was so bad, I cut my trip short and returned home to avoid another hospital stay. On the days I didn't require oxygen, the visit to this restaurant was the highlight of my day. I greatly enjoyed their homemade vegan cookies,... More

Hi Monica :) The altitude sickness can be cruel sometimes - the good news is that you caught it on time and were able to at least enjoy a couple of things while here in La Paz. I'm so happy to know that we were that highlight and that the food gave you some kind of comfort and happiness. Thank... More

Great american-owned indian restaurant. The only flaw is that you have to come multiple times to try all the dishes ;)

The restaurant has a central location in La Paz, just beside the Calle de Brujos. We arrived here because of the vegetarian food two times for lunch. First time we have ordered to share between us a Beans soup called Chilli with soya & onion (29 BOB) and a Crispy tofu patties (23 BOB), and some tea from rooibos, green... More

It's all about the beans! Hi Viktoria and thank you for coming to Namas Té. I'll just make a little correction on your post please, we are close (about 10 blocks) from calle de brujas ……..close enough but not quite besides it……however our dear friends at Cafe Vida are besides calle de brujas who i also suggest is def worth... Popped into Namas Te to avoid the rain and had lunch and a cup of tea while waiting for the rain to subside. The storekeeper was very friendly and had an excellent manner with customers. The food was amazing and probably one of the healthiest meals you will find in La Paz.

I was there with a friend of mine vegetarian. I am not. He enjoyed the meal and I too, even if I wasn't excited. But it's a question of personal taste and I'm not a good reviewer in this sense. My friend went again and his comment was still good.

Very cool to know that both of you enjoyed the meal. It's sometimes neat to try out other things that we are not used to…..it's great for our tastebuds and of course it gives another perspective from a non-veg….and even more so when you spread the good word w/other people reading these sweet reviews on Trip Advisor. Thanks for sharing... More

This is some of the best vegetarian I have had in a long time. Staff are super helpful, atmosphere was great and it was cheap! Would defiantly go back if I had more time in La Paz

This place served the best meal I had in the entire of Bolivia. Lots of options. I'm not vegan but would have eaten everything on the menu if I could. There was a separate gluten free list which made things very easy for me. I ordered the mani pad Thai. Not a usual pad Thai but it was delicious. If... More

Step forward into Namas Te. This Chuck Palahniuk reference is exactly how you'll feel by stepping out of the intensity that is La Paz into the bohemian experience of Namas Te. The atmosphere, color, art, and ambient sounds sooth your, potentially overwhelmed, senses adding to the illusion of being in a different world. I ate here almost daily during my... More

When I first arrived in La Paz, I was overwhelmed with all the buildings, traffic, and people everywhere! It was super lovely to have you visit and enjoy Namas Té. What a portal of a place this has developed into. We are so grateful for all the visits/reviews/suggestions/love that we receive and give on a daily visit. It only makes this vibration stronger and maybe we've made a bit of a impact in the continious animal abuse worldwide.... More

•••• Welcome and Bienvenidos :) •••• Namas Té is about receptivity, respect, art, music, harmony, love, compassion but mostly it's about homestyle vegan/vegetarian cooking. We love what we do and it is very important to share this with everyone that decides to venture into our little oasis in the middle of this beautiful city. There are plenty of choices for veggie entrepeneurs in our food and drink menu all of which are presented in a fair accessble price. Our most popular 'feature' are the daily 'almuerzo' or set lunch menu where we offer a 4 course meal beginning at noon monday through saturday. Stop by and check out our art in progress plus join us for some yummy freshly made food - thanks for checking our Trip Advisor page, namaste! We are open monday - friday 8:30am - 7:00pm / saturday 8:30am - 4:00pm
